A Confrontation With A Long Ignored Reality - Because they see only their own reflection -- or, the reflection of their own predetermined beliefs -- believers, their clergy and alleged scholars alike hold almost countless opinions as to the meaning of the scriptures. Sadly, to their own detriment they overlook the most important part of the equation -- i.e., the scriptures are exactly what the original authors intended them to be. And if we then pose the question: What are the implications of this fact? While you may have read and even studied countless opinions of scriptural interpretation and commentary -- and you may have even undergone the formal study of the scriptures yourself -- but unless you understand how to apply what Jesus portrayed as the Key of Knowledge -- and unless you properly apply the Key of Knowledge in accord with the original intent and objectives which the authors composed these sacred writings -- then your assumptions about the meaning of the scriptures will amount to just one more of the infinite often meaningless opinions as to just what the scriptures mean.
Spiritual-Amnesia: In the Gospels, Jesus presents Universal Truths that are Relevant and True with respect to all of mankind -- regardless of their beliefs or associations. In the parables, all of mankind is portrayed in the parable of the Prodigal Son (see Parable). And the fact that the vast majority of people fail to remember when they dwelt in the Kingdom prior to journeying out into this, the Far Country, is because they presently dwell in what Jesus portrayed as the "outer darkness" of mind and being ( http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org ). They therefore fail to remember their more distant past because they have been stricken with spiritual-amnesia, and presently dwell in a suppressed mental and spiritual condition that can only be overcome when they come to TheCall (see http://TheCall.Nazirene.org ) -- put on the required "wedding garment" -- and as portrayed in the parable of the prodigal son, "come to their senses" and begin the Journey in TheWay that will restore them to the Edenic Kingdom of Origination. And this fact is important because this reality of the journey of the prodigal son, goes to the very core of the purpose and objectives of the scriptures -- which is to provide the sincere seekers the means to reverse the spiritual-amnesia, and become restored to their Source in the Kingdom. The authors of the scriptures were themselves highly evolved spiritual men who created using the allegorical garb of history, portrayals of man's Divine Pattern of Mind -- presenting to those who had sufficiently begun the process of mental-expansion and spiritual-evolution, the Laws and Forces of Consciousness -- including an understanding of The Natural Laws Of Creation http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TheLawsOfCreation that evolves each Soul from the Alpha of Ignorance to the Omega of Enlightened Light -- as well as The Laws That Control Every Aspect Of Our Lives http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TheLawsThatControlOurLives throughout the stages of development in this realm that can be portrayed as God's School House for his divine offspring. The scriptures reveale to the seeker who has the "eyes to see", the absolute need to achieve the subsequent stages of birth -- and the reality that this realm that is portrayed as the Far Country, is very much a Mental Womb http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#MentalWomb that is designed to bring about the next stage of birth that enables man to become At-One with his Higher Soul-Self (see http://SoulSelf.org ). And beyond this, the necessary Spiritual-Birth that enables the Soul to become At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God in the manner that our elder brother Jesus did -- i.e., as witnessed by those who Jesus personally taught and walked with daily who affirmed that the original Gospels were correct prior to be corrupted by the Church (see http://TheTenWords.com ) that Jesus was "...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34). When the Ebionite Nazirenes make reference to the Law, this very much includes the Laws of Creation as portrayed in the words "...the designs/laws found throughout Nature and all of Creation". That the historical man Jesus was a pattern for all of mankind because he was the first prodigal son to be restored to the Edenic Kingdom of Origination because of his success in overcoming the Laws within his own mind and being, is demonstrated in the words: "He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ..." And this confirms this statement with respect to the true potential of all of mankind that Jesus taught, as demonstrated in the words of the pre-Nicene Church Father Hippolytus when he wrote that they believed that when any of the prodigal sons "...thus fulfill the law, they are able to become Christs" (Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see http://Ebionite.com ). And this is why Jesus taught that he was our brother -- i.e., "Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'" (John 20:17 NIV).
That the historical Jesus was a true holy man who became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ by fulfilling the Royal Law within himself, is attested to at Acts 2:22 where Jesus is portrayed as "a man, attested to you by God" -- and this was demonstrated by God performing "mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst". If Jesus was himself God incarnate as believed by the later Romans, then these words portraying Jesus as a man approved by God through the works and wonders that God did through him, never would have been presented in this manner. The heathen and pagan mind of the mainstream of Gentiles always had great difficulty in understanding the difference between the man Jesus, the Indwelling Logos/Son of God which is representative of the Mind of God (see The Logos), and the One Teacher which Jesus commanded all who would call themselves his disciples and followers, were to seek out and learn from (see The True Prophet). And it was the living of the necessary Consecrated Life that Jesus ordained, and the seeking of the Kingdom within, that enabled the historical Jesus to become the Messiah, and At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God. And this is especially demonstrated in the words of Edward Gibbon with respect to the original position of the Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus that he was in “...supernatural union of a man and God... In their eyes, Jesus of Nazareth was a mere mortal, the legitimate son of Joseph and Mary: but he was the best and wisest of the human race, selected as the worthy instrument to restore upon earth the worship of the true and supreme Deity. When he was baptized in the Jordan, the Christ, the first of the aeons, the Son of God himself, descended on Jesus in the form of a dove, to inhabit his mind, and direct his actions during the allotted period of his ministry” (Gibbon; The Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, V.4, P.366). The historical and spiritual factualness of these words can be proven when one understands the original words that were spoken to the man Jesus at his baptism in the Jordan River -- when the Voice of God stated: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" -- which means that the historical man Jesus was a man who became the Messiah/Christ when he overcame the Laws and became Anointed by God. That the later Church of Rome which existed as a puppet under the pagan sun worshipping Emperor Constantine, censored and changed the very words of God spoken to mankind, is the primary reason why the Christian world remains shackled to the abyss of spiritual ignorance to this very day.
The authors of the scriptures were spiritual men -- and concealed within the allegorical body of the written text their sacred writings possessed the knowledge that enables the lost prodigal sons and daughters to escape the "outer darkness" of the Far Country -- overcome the affliction of spiritual-amnesia that robs and deprives the offspring of God the memory of when they dwelt in the Kingdom -- as well as the memory of all the lives their soul has lived in their individual journeys from the Alpha to the Omega. That the lost prodigal sons and daughters have been stricken with spiritual-amnesia, and fail to remember their more distant past while dwelling in this, the "outer darkness" of the Far Country, is one of the primary objectives of the scriptures. That organic natural man fails to remember when he dwelt in the Kingdom, as well as all the lifetimes man's Soul has lived in the Journey of the Soul, is due to the dogmatic and carnal shackles that the Citizen of the Far Country uses to enslave the prodigal sons and daughters to lives of hardship and suffering -- primarily due to their own ignorance of self and their divine origin. And this self-ignorance is attested to by Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas in the words: "(3) Jesus said ...But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty" (see http://GospelOfThomas.Nazirene.org ).
When Paul portrayed the baptized and committed Christians who he personally taught as incapable of comprehending man's higher soul and spiritual reality because they were of a "natural" and "animal-soul" level of consciousness (see Organic Man Ruled Over By His Lower Animal Nature ) -- he confirmed the important reason why the Gospels are parables within the framework of a larger body of parables: "And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it. But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples" (Mark 4:33-34 NKJV -- see below: In The House - Taught In Parables - The Key Of Knowledge). What is a parable within a larger parable framework? A parable portrays essential higher truths at a variable level of understanding so they can be understood at the level of the person reading or hearing the parable -- and as the level of the reader or hearer begins to evolve, greater truths are perceived and understood. A parable within a parable presents universal parabolic truths within short presentations that must be understood in order to begin to comprehend the higher truths of the parabolic whole.
This parabolic framework is necessary, because mankind who is at an "animal-soul" level of consciousness is incapable of comprehending man's higher soul and spiritual reality. And because of the Laws of Creation, the Spiritual Visionary and Mystic understands that they cannot do the impossible -- what neither Jesus, Paul or any of the biblical authors were capable of doing -- which is to convey the higher reality of the Soul and the Kingdom, to mankind in his "natural" and/or "animal-soul" level of being. In the same way that an infant cannot do and accomplish what an adult can, neither can man in his organic condition of mind comprehend what can only be understood by those who have embraced the process of evolving the mind into a condition of highly developed and refined spiritual maturity. And when rightly understood, this world which is portrayed as the Far Country in the parable of the prodigal son, is a three-dimensional shadow-world (see OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org ) to those who in the manner of the example of those who had yet to bring about the transformation of the physical body and mind, refuse to make the change within themselves necessary to prove the Truth by travailing in TheWay. The Law is that only those who are themselves spiritual, can receive the higher spiritual knowledge. The mystic and spiritual visionary who must be understood as spiritual scientists and seekers of Ultimate Truth, have long attempted to explain to "natural" organic man that in order to see and comprehend the higher reality that the mystic perceives, the seeker must themselves bring about the same developmental changes within their body and mind. At the foregoing link I explain that this realm is a three-dimensional image of a higher twelve-dimensional reality -- which is why it is portrayed by mystics as a shadow-world of illusions. And BY DESIGN, the only means that you or any other of the lost prodigal sons have to prove the truth, is to bring about the necessary changes within yourself to prevail over the human limitations which Paul portrays as "natural" and of an "animal-soul" level of being (see Organic Man Ruled Over By His Lower Animal Nature ). In the same way that you can't enroll an infant in a university, if you desire to Know the Truth, then you must make the necessary changes and transformation within your own mind and being that permits you to Know the Truth -- and like the infant who can't comprehend at a university level, this is BY DIVINE DESIGN. In the parable of the Sower And The Seed, this necessary environment of purified and refined body and mind is portrayed as the "good ground". And in the same way that when man provides the proper purified and refined foundational environment within one's own body and mind, each person possesses the innate ability to Know the Truth of all Truths -- and the only requirement is for them to begin to live the Truth that has been revealed to them in word, thought, desire and deed. In the below I will demonstrate the reality of the statement in the Wycliffe Bible Commentary that only the sincere disciple could be: “...instructed in the esoteric teaching... which was not revealed to outsiders… The mystery of the kingdom in its ultimate development is the full-orbed message of the Gospel (Rom 16:25-26). The purpose of parables was to instruct the initiates without revealing the items of instruction to the ones who were without. This is in keeping with the Biblical principle that spiritual understanding is restricted to those who have become spiritual...”. And the fact that you may be an acknowledged genus from the perspective of man's modern academia, means absolutely nothing with respect to your ability to comprehend the true spiritual meaning of the scriptures. And the problem is not only one of comprehension, but also the fact that the scriptures are composed and written in a spiritual language that the seeker or student of the scriptures can only learn from inner spiritual Sources that are largely incomprehensible from the perspective of modern academia.
Innate Knowledge Of The Truth Of All Truths - Anamnesis: Every person who is alive today -- and has ever lived and walked the face of the earth -- possesses the innate ability to prove the Truth of all Truths -- within their own mind and being. Therefore, ultimately, no one has an excuse for not knowing the Truth of all Truths -- and following others in the wrong direction. In the same way that the faith-based followers of Jim Jones were seduced into following their leader through the gates of tragic and absurd evil, the same is true of the intellectuals who preside over the halls of modern academia. In the same way that entry-level requirements exist for virtually every one of life's endeavors, this is also true of the individual person's approach to studying and understanding the scriptures, as well as the higher purpose and realities of Life. And in clarification, I am not at all insinuating that everyone has the ability to believe the truth -- or to read the truth out of some book -- or to be taught the truth in any of the ways that mankind teaches or conveys opinions and human knowledge -- but rather, every person has the innate ability to Know the Truth by virtue of their becoming a Direct Expression and embodiment of the Truth through their own Experiential connection with the Source of all Truths. And it is the development of this Innate Ability that was the objective of the authors of the scriptures. So much so, that it was for this reason that Paul wrote and warned that everyone is ultimately responsible for Knowing the Truth of All Truths (Rom 1:19-20 and The Sacred Language Of Creation). As Paul wrote and warned, no one has an excuse for not Knowing the Truth of all Truths -- and they will be ultimately held accountable for their desire to seek and learn the Truth of all Truths. Further, the only real obstacle to knowing the Truth, is man's own ignorance of their True-Self -- and their True-Self's relationship to Creator-God. Which is why the Gospel of Thomas proclaims: "But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty...". Therefore, the only obstacle to Knowing and becoming the Living Embodiment of the Truth, is Self Ignorance.
The Great Question: Is the mind of an infant empty? Or does the infant possess the innate ability to tap into a pre-existing source of knowledge within himself that exceeds all of the wisdom of this world that he could be taught in the traditional manner? The scriptures are based upon the process of anamnesis -- or, drawing from a pre-existing source within the child/person's own mind. Under the heading of Anamnesis (Philosophy), the Wikipedia states: It is the idea that humans possess knowledge from past incarnations and that learning consists of rediscovering that knowledge within us. The article then goes on to say: Socrates' response is to develop his theory of anamnesis. He suggests that the soul is immortal, and repeatedly incarnated; knowledge is actually in the soul from eternity... What one perceives to be learning, then, is actually the recovery of what one has forgotten. (Once it has been brought back it is true belief, to be turned into genuine knowledge by understanding.) And thus Socrates (and Plato) sees himself, not as a teacher, but as a midwife, aiding with the birth of knowledge that was already there in the student. While the English language is spiritually dead, Jñāna in Sanskrit means "knowledge" -- but, like the Greek word Gnosis, the word Jñāna portrays Knowledge acquired through Meditation -- i.e., looking within one's own mind at a deeper level.
This reality of the existence of a deeper level of consciousness and an inner Source of Knowledge is portrayed in the statement by the Church Father Origen on using the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge where he wrote: “But all the narrative portion [of the scriptures], relating either to the marriages, or to the begetting of the children, or to battles of different kinds, or to any other histories whatever, what else can they be supposed to be, save the forms and figures of hidden and sacred things? As men, however, make little effort to exercise their intellect, or imagine that they possess knowledge before they really learn, the consequence is that they never begin to have knowledge". It is important to take note of Origen's statement that "...As men, however, make little effort to exercise their intellect, or imagine that they possess knowledge before they really learn" -- where reference is being made to an Inner Source of Knowledge that mankind possesses, even before they even begin to learn in the traditional outward manner. Further, Origen correctly states with respect to the (allegorical) text of the scriptures that "...all the narrative portion [of the scriptures], relating either to the marriages, or to the begetting of the children, or to battles of different kinds, or to any other histories whatever", do not at all pertain to historical accounts of man's more distant past -- but rather, are allegorical presentations of the Forces and Laws that are presently working within man's own mind and being. Why? How could Origen who was called the prince of Christian learning second only to the Apostles themselves, state that the historical interpretation of the scriptures is "worthless"? And that what is presented in the written text as marriages, the begetting of children, and the many various wars and battles are not at all historical -- but rather, an allegorical portrayal of the Forces and Laws working within one's own mind and being?
Paul correctly portrayed the written text and narrative of the scriptures as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" (see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14). Why? Because the literal text of the scriptures is a quasi-historical facade that is necessary for the very limited instruction of the immature seeker -- with the true spiritual meaning remaining preserved and concealed beneath the garb of allegory (see An Inconvenient Truth). The Church Father Origen explained that “Scripture contains an unhistorical element in-woven with the history, in order that the worthlessness of the latter may drive us to seek the spiritual meaning” (Origen quoted under Origen Adamntius; The Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics). Further explaining in De Principiis that: “Where the word found that things done according to the history could be adapted to these mystical senses, he made use of them concealing from the multitude the deeper meaning; but where in the narrative of the development of super-sensual things, there did not follow the performance of those certain events which were already indicated by the mystical meaning, the scripture interwove in the history the account of some event that did not take place, sometimes what could not have happened; sometimes what could but did not.” And that the carnal mind of both the blind believer, as well as the skeptic critic, both attempt to ignore these important inconsistencies (see Inconsistencies Purposely Written Into Body Of Scriptural Text), and attempt to read the scriptures as an historical account, inhibits them from perceiving and understanding the great truths that lie concealed beneath the allegorical texts.
This is why the Apostle Peter is quoted in the writings of his disciple Clement as stating with respect to the scriptures: "...therefore great care is to be taken, that when the law of God is read, it be not read according to the understanding of our own mind. For there are many sayings in the divine Scriptures which can be drawn to that sense which every one has preconceived for himself; and this ought not to be done. For you ought not to seek a foreign and extraneous sense, which you have brought from without" Why should the scriptures not be read and understood in accord with "an extraneous sense, which you have brought from without"? Because the whole of the scriptures are an allegorical presentation using and employing catalysts that connect the outer physical consciousness with the pre-existing inner soul and spiritual consciousness -- which when rightly understood, is the very essence of the process of anamnesis. Therefore, when you attempt to teach the meaning of the scriptures, you negate the catalysts and symbols that are contained in the scriptural body, and you inhibit and atrophie the development of those areas of mind that must be developed in order to tap into this inner Source of Knowledge. Further, this is why Jesus commanded his disciples that they can only have ONE TEACHER -- the True Prophet or Logos -- that dwells within them at the very Core of their Consciousness (see True Prophet). With respect to this ONE TEACHER that the followers of Jesus were commanded to seek out exclusively, Peter taught that he is "...within the mind of every one of us, but in those who have no desire of the knowledge of God and His righteousness, He is inoperative; but He works in those who seek after that which is profitable to their souls, and kindles in them the light of knowledge. Wherefore seek Him first of all; and if you do not find Him, expect not that you shall learn anything from any other." In their abandonment of the Gospel First Principles and the One Source of the Truth of all Truths that is drawn out through the process of Anamnesis, the modern Christian world has virtually nothing in common with the purpose and objective of the Original Gospel Teachings. But what this also means is that the more we learn in the traditional manner as embraced by academia, the more we suppress those innate resources of mind that have the ability to tap into this Inner Source of Ultimate Truth (see Academia And The Feminist Cultural War On Women http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org#AcademiaWarOnWomen ). And with respect to the true meaning of the scriptures: the more we study commentaries, attend Bible study groups, and the teachings of traditional religious institutions and authorities, the more we alienate ourselves from the True and Spiritual meaning of the Gospels. Instead of developing those areas of the mind that permit us to tap into and learn directly from the Source of all Knowledge and Truth, we turn instead to the (carnal) opinions of men -- which is outlawed in the New Testament (see The Rejection Of All Human Opinion: http://KeyOfKnowledge.org#HumanOpinion .
Mankind is portrayed in the parable of the two sons as the younger son who abandons the Kingdom of the Father, and squanders away his divine inheritance on "riotous living" in this realm which is called the Far Country -- also portrayed as the "outer darkness" of mind and being (see Outer Darkness) -- which, when rightly understood, parallels the analogy of Plato's Cave of Illusions (see Cave). In the Gospel of Thomas this world is portrayed in the rather profound statement: (56) Jesus said, "He who has come to understand this world shall discover (only) a corpse, and whoever has discovered a corpse shall transcend beyond this world." Which implies the reality, that the only means by which mankind can be restored to his original condition, is to transcend and move beyond the limitations of this world -- i.e., the Far Country that is not his place of origin. And this was and remains the ONLY objective of the authors of the scriptures in the composition of their Sacred Writings.
In the same way that Paul was forced (because of the spiritual immaturity of the congregation of believers he taught) to limit his teachings to a quasi-historical "testimony" of "...Jesus and him crucified" -- warning that even if it were possible to convey to these baptized and confirmed Christians anything beyond what Paul portrayed as the "milk" of the Gospel which is necessary for babes in Christ who would reject the higher spiritual knowledge and teachings as utter "foolishness" if he was to openly present the Truth to them -- the authors of the scriptures had no other choice than to utilize this entry-level "milk" designed for spiritually immature Christians in the literal presentation of the scriptures.
If what Paul and the other Gospel Authors stated is true, and there exist higher realities and dimensions of being that are totally inconceivable to the mind of the undeveloped faith-based believer (see Mysteries Of The Gospel ) -- and by virtue of the immaturity of the faith-based believers brought about by an embryonic condition of mind which Paul portrayed as the "natural" mind of man -- and the limitations of this embryonic condition of mind even inhibited Jesus from conveying the true meaning of the scriptures, and the higher reality of the soul and the Kingdom to all but his inner core of disciples (see In The House - Taught In Parables) -- which means that the biblical authors were therefore powerless to explain in any detail and depth many of the most important Gospel teachings and concepts in the literal text of the New Testament -- then the spiritually mature author's of the scriptures who were themselves enlightened to these higher realities, remained virtually powerless to do anything more than to provide the people with a list of do's and don'ts -- so that the faith-based believers will be in a position where they will be better able to evolve to a mature understanding and comprehension of the teachings of Jesus and TheWay. To totally ignore these do's and don'ts, without knowing the consequence of one's choices and actions, is paramount to walking out onto a freeway blindfolded. The Law is that you, as a sincere seeker, can never know any greater level of Truth, than you are willing to live and manifest in word, thought, desire and deed -- which means that modern mainstream liberal Christianity is virtually worthless.
Christians maintain that they are saved by faith totally apart from their actions and works -- and their salvation is guaranteed from the moment they accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. But is this the original teachings of Jesus? The Flawed Doctrine Of Perpetual Redemption totally ignores the many statements by Paul where he warns: "For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who ...then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). Why did Paul make such a statement? Because the original Gospel teachings in their original form was one of spiritual transformation -- a process that would evolve the mind of the seeker/disciple from their embryonic infantile condition, to that of higher spiritual maturity and Wholeness. Those who reject these teachings and fall back into the thinking and lifestyle of this world -- who willfully sin after coming to the knowledge of the Gospel message -- are not only unbelievers and apostates to the teachings of the Gospels, but in Paul's words these counterfeit believers crucify the Son of God afresh. And, in total opposition to what is preached in the modern Churches, Paul warns that "...there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." These, and other such spiritual concepts, were totally unacceptable to the fourth century heathen Church of Rome -- and while these few passages continue to exist, the scriptures were corrupted (see http://BibleCorruption.com ) in order to make the Gospels support the doctrines of a series of Roman Emperors who ruled over the Church from the fourth century onward. That the Church has abandoned the original teachings of Jesus -- to the degree that when it is proven that the fourth century Church even edited and corrupted the very words of God spoken to man (see http://TheTenWords.com ) -- means that until the Church itself repents of this great sin against the Holy Spirit, they will remain under a cloud of ignorance in an exiled state in a Spiritual Diaspora. What does Paul, the Apostle of faith say? To the Romans he warns: "Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off" (Rom 11:20-22 NIV). Because the fourth-century Christians entered into a covenant with Pagan Rome -- installing the emperor who was not even baptized, as the head of the Church -- and in a state of absolute arrogance, hunted down and murdered all sincere spiritual Christians and original Ebionite Nazirenes who did not accept the religious doctrines of the emperor -- even editing and corrupting the very words of God spoken to mankind -- the Church has not only been "cut off" -- but the Christians themselves dwell in a Spiritual Diaspora under the cloud of spiritual ignorance.
I always found it truly amazing that readers of the scriptures could read the words of Paul where he states that the "natural" mind of the Christians who he had himself taught, would reject the truths pertaining to the higher reality of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom as utter "foolishness" -- portraying himself as an "ambassador in bonds" who was unable to speak plainly. And from this perspective, the best that Paul could do for those who he portrayed as entry-level Christians who were "babes in Christ", was to provide them a series of do's and don'ts that would assist them in evolving through the stages of spiritual immaturity that made it impossible for them to comprehend the True Gospel Meaning and Objectives. And then, these same people who call themselves believers, ignore the very core Gospel teachings to their own demise (see The Lie).
In The Words Of Hillary Clinton: What Difference Does It Make? "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna" (Rev 2:17) -- and Spiritual Manna which is Spiritual Knowledge, can only be imparted to man directly by God -- and can only be received by those who "overcome", and are prepared to receive it. The Greek word for this secret spiritual knowledge that can only be imparted directly from God to those who are prepared to receive it, is called "Gnosis" -- aka Spiritual Manna. Paul correctly stated that the faith-based Christians who are totally versed in what he called the (historical) "traditions of Jesus and him crucified", were too carnal to receive the Spiritual Manna or Gnosis. Paul portrayed the baptized and committed Christians as still being of an "animal-soul" level of consciousness who were incapable of receiving the Divine Manna or Gnosis. And this reality is expressed in the meaning of the Greek text of Paul's First Epistle to the Corinthians (2:14) where Paul states that the "natural" organic man cannot comprehend the higher reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom. Which profound statement provokes the question: What is meant by the term that Paul used when he described the very people who he had himself taught who were incapable of comprehending the higher reality of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom when he portrayed them as being of a "natural" organic level of mind and consciousness? The Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary writes with respect to the meaning of the word in the original Greek language: "natural man—literally, 'a man of animal soul'." Further, the Treasury Of Scriptural Knowledge states of this ignored and profound statement at 1 Cor 2:14 which reads (quoting Paul): "But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" -- wherein the proper interpretative-meaning of Paul's words with respect to the reality of what is portrayed by Paul as the natural man is then presented: [Psuchikos,] the animal man, one who lives in a natural state, and under the influence of his animal passions; for [psuche] means the inferior and sensual part of man, in opposition to the [nous] understanding, or [pneuma,] the spirit. And this is not only true -- but is a fact of life that all mystics and enlightened souls must deal with when interacting with organic man. Which is exactly why Paul profoundly stated to the very people who he had personally taught the Gospel message: "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal" (1 Cor 3:1-3 NKJ). Stating to the body of confirmed and baptized believers who he stated had received all truth and knowledge pertaining to the elementary "traditions" of Christ: “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor 2:14 NKJ).
Mankind is of the Fourth Kingdom -- i.e., mineral, vegetable and animal -- and his lower nature and body consciousness is comprised and immersed in these three lower kingdoms as personified in the subheading: Organic Man Ruled Over By His Lower Animal Nature. Which is why in his Epistles Paul commanded to "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature" (Col 3:5 NIV) -- further warning that “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Rom 8:13 KJV). Yet, because important teachings were removed from the Gospels, and modern man does not at all understand the reality of his lower animal nature, he fails to understand that he can very well be portrayed as being of an animal consciousness who is walking the earth in the outward form of man -- i.e., the fourth kingdom being ruled over by the lower three that comprise the consciousness of his physical body. Therefore, what Paul warned with respect to comprehending the higher reality of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom is that “But the natural man [who is still of an animal-soul] does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually received” (1 Cor 2:14 NKJ). Therefore, the baptized and confirmed believers who Paul had personally taught were incapable of comprehending the higher reality of the soul and the true spiritual meaning of the Gospel, because they were yet too immature to comprehend man's higher spiritual reality -- i.e., "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal" (1 Cor 3:1-3 NKJ). And this fact of reality remains true unto this very day. Without doing as Paul commanded with respect to the transformation of the lower animal-consciousness of the body, it will remain impossible to perceive and comprehend the true spiritual meaning of the Gospels. And it will make no difference if you study the scriptures in a university or seminary -- in the same way that Paul himself could not convey to those he personally taught the spiritual meaning of the Gospels, neither can any man teach this meaning without the seeker/student undergoing the process of transforming the "natural animal-soul" consciousness of the physical.
The authors of the scriptures were Spiritual Seekers in search of Spiritual Knowledge -- i.e., Gnosis or what can be defined as the Sacred Knowledge or the Divine Manna revealed directly from God to the Seeker of the Truth and the Kingdom. Gnosis has absolutely nothing to do with an historical people who were portrayed as Gnostics. There is no formal Church or secret order that can reveal Gnosis. Contrary to popular opinion, the term Gnostic does not in any manner denote an alternative historical tradition which the Church suppressed. Gnosis is not a set of dogmatic beliefs -- or any phenomena pertaining to this world. In fact, all genuine scriptures are Gnostic at their core -- i.e., Matthew, Mark, Luke and John -- and the whole foundation of the esoteric knowledge concealed within the body of the scriptures, deals entirely with the Forces and Laws that control the Consciousness of Man, and Cosmology of the seekers own Mind and Being. But even more important is the fact that this body of knowledge exists no where else -- i.e., it is totally absent from our modern colleges and universities -- and therefore, it is impossible to teach Gnosis in a university or seminary. The very existence and reality of True Gnosis in fact remains an enigma to virtually all of man's religions and philosophical systems today. Therefore, it is impossible to read and study that body of Knowledge which can be defined as Gnosis in any of the books written by man To the degree that Gnosis cannot be researched or studied in even the greatest of man's libraries. And yet, it is the most important body of knowledge that man could possibly possess. To the degree that the Gospel of Thomas declares: "...But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty". And while it is true that this esoteric body of knowledge lies concealed within the textual cloak of the scriptures, it remains an unseen and camouflaged enigma to the eyes and understanding of the vast majority of mankind who gaze into the textual-body of the scriptures, and who see only the reflection of their own beliefs and/or condition of mind reflected back to them. Which means that if we pose the question: What Difference Does It Make? It makes all the difference in the world!!!
Animals That Walk In The Form Of Man: There is truly great wisdom in the Gospel of Thomas teachings: (5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you..." -- the degree that this is true beyond organic man's very limited perceptive-vision and imagination, is a demonstration of his blindness to man's true reality. In the acknowledgement in the foregoing that Paul portrayed the organic "natural" people of this world as being of an "animal-soul" level of consciousness, few people can even begin to envision the reality of what Paul's words convey -- which confirms the statement in the 88th chapter of The Gospel Of The Nazirenes where Jesus states: "Love you one another and all the creatures of God, Yet I say to you, not all are men, who are in the form of man..." (see Organic Man Ruled Over By His Lower Animal Nature). As explained in the foregoing link, mankind being of the Fourth Kingdom, has the lower three earthly kingdoms (mineral, vegetable and animal) within him -- and the evolutionary condition of these lower three kingdoms can and does not only intimately affect and often control our lives -- but in accordance with their condition, inhibits both our behavior and ability to understand all things.
While there are many references to man being ruled over by his lower animal nature at the foregoing link, from the perspective of being able to receive and comprehend the spiritual meaning of the scriptures, and the higher reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom, there is a statement in the Gospel of Philip that explains this incomprehensible reality -- i.e., "A householder acquired everything— whether son or slave or cattle or dog or swine, whether wheat or barley or straw or hay or [bones] or meat (or) acorns. Yet he (was) wise and knew the food of each [one]. Before the sons he indeed set bread with [olive-oil and meat; before] the slaves he set castor-oil with grain; and before the cattle [he set barley] with straw and hay; to the dogs he cast bones; yet before [the swine] he threw acorns and crusts of bread. So it is with the Disciple of God— if he is wise, he is perceptive about the Discipleship. The bodily forms will not deceive him, but rather he will observe the disposition of the soul of each one in order to speak with him. In the world there are many animals made in human form— these he is accustomed to recognize. To the swine indeed he will throw acorns; yet to the cattle he will cast barley with straw and hay; to the dogs he will cast bones; to the slaves he will give the elementary; to the Sons he will present the perfect".
What is presented is both the level of consciousness that rules over the people, and the type of instruction and knowledge in the form of food that can be provided to them in accord with their Condition of Mind. When Paul stated that he could only provide the Christians who he had taught the "elementary" quasi-historical teachings of "Christ and him crucified", what he was stating was that they could only comprehend the allegorical symbols of the Gospel designed for "babes" in Christ. Which provokes the question: What level of teachings can be conveyed to Christians who have yet to travail in TheWay and transform their lower animal nature? In the above verses of the Gospel of Philip, the Householder who is portrayed as being wise, is cognizant of the ruling-consciousness of others as seen in the statement: "...The bodily forms will not deceive him, but rather he will observe the disposition of the soul of each one in order to speak with him. In the world there are many animals made in human form— these he is accustomed to recognize". While each person appears to be in human form, the wise man will not be deceived, and will understand that in the case of the vast majority of people, their lower animal nature will so rule over their thinking and life, that they will factually be beasts who walk in the form of man -- existing at various levels in the Soul's attempt to be fully born into the Kingdom of Man (see Entering The Kingdom of Man). But it is also important to recognize that the animals presented in the above quotation from the Gospel of Philip only portrays those animal-natures of people who are associated with the believer-community -- and not those outside the body of believers. Quoting from http://SoulSelf.org : When Jesus therefore portrays some people as dogs, this is because they are ruled over by what the consciousness of the dog manifests in both the Divine Mind and the Soul-Mind -- that is ruling over the person who can be likened to the qualities personified in a dog. And this is also true of all the animals of nature -- each impressed with a fragmented consciousness of the whole of the animal kingdom. But it is important to recognize that in the same way that on one level the animal consciousness appears to be independent, on another level is it intimately connected -- both to God, our Higher Soul-Self, as well as our own consciousness. And there are people who can look at a person's (undressed) body, and see the faces of the animals that comprise that person's lower nature. And the ability to actually release the lower animal nature and consciousness to accomplish tasks for the person, is an integral part of the ancient Hawaiian religion of Huna -- as well as other indigenous religions that were more in tune with man's lower nature.
A wise man understands that every day he encounters people who are the ravenous beasts who walk the earth in human form. Lions, tigers, bears, snakes and every type of predator. Men prone to extreme violence and suffering perpetrated upon the unaware peoples of the earth. Which means that an important aspect of the question as to why there is evil in the world? Each Soul exists at greatly varying stages of evolution of mind and spirit (see The Evolving Soul) -- and there are countless cultures and philosophies that support the lower animal-nature of the people to manifest and rule over the consciousness of the society. While the whole of the animal kingdom is represented in the lower nature of mankind, the portrayal of dogs, swine, cattle and sheep apply only to the community of faith-based believers. And thus, in accord with the "animal-soul" level of consciousness of each believer, the Householder in the Gospel of Philip provides quasi-human people instruction and knowledge as presented in the allegorical food -- i.e., "...To the swine indeed he will throw acorns; yet to the cattle he will cast barley with straw and hay; to the dogs he will cast bones; to the slaves he will give the elementary; to the Sons he will present the perfect".
Those people whose consciousness can be portrayed as that of a swine, are those who seek God only when they are in need -- and instead of change, they remain immersed in the thinking and lifestyle of this world -- dwelling in the muck and mire of life. These people can only be provided allegorical instruction in the form of seeds as personified in the acorn. Seeds can be defined as allegorical instruction that under the right conditions, may eventually begin to evolve and grow sometime in the future. And to those people whose minds are ruled over by the consciousness of a swine Jesus warned: "...do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces" (Matt 7:6). When the Dominican friar Giordanio Bruno told the people the truth, the authorities of the Church imprisoned him, and eventually burnt him on the stake (see Spiritually Based Religion) -- as swine who turned upon Bruno for conveying to the people truth that opposed the man-made dogma of the Roman Church.
Those portrayed as cattle can be given "...barley with straw and hay". There were no sheep in Egypt, but Pharaoh made the Children of Israel "rulers" over his cattle. Cattle represent physical strength, which like all the powers of man on the natural plane, must be spiritualized. The faculties of mind, having come down into a more material state of consciousness (Egypt), take dominion over and lift up the animal thoughts and tendencies in the body and unify them with Spirit. "To the dogs he will cast bones -- i.e., that which is drawn from the death of slain beasts. The spiritual meaning of the Gospels and the esoteric knowledge of TheWay could not be given to those people whose lower animal nature can be portrayed as dogs and swine -- i.e., "Never give what is holy to dogs or throw your pearls before pigs. Otherwise, they will trample them with their feet and then turn around and attack you" (Mat 7:6 ISV). Of the meaning of this passage, Gill's Exposition of the Bible states: "Here the phrase is used in a metaphorical sense; and is generally understood of not delivering or communicating the holy word of God, and the truths of the Gospel, comparable to pearls, or the ordinances of it, to persons notoriously vile and sinful: to men, who being violent and furious persecutors, and impudent blasphemers, are compared to 'dogs'; or to such, who are scandalously vile, impure in their lives and conversations, and are therefore compared to swine" And this commandment not to reveal the esoteric knowledge of the Gospel is confirmed in the Homilies of Peter's disciple Clement were Peter is quoted as stating: “We remember that our Lord and teacher, as commanding, said to us, guard the mysteries for me, and the sons of my house. Wherefore also he explained to his disciples, privately, the mysteries of the kingdoms of the heavens.” With respect to dogs: They will take food (knowledge) from any hand that feeds them -- wherein, the Children of the Kingdom are commanded to seek only The True Prophet. Dogs will eat their own vomit. Thus, those people whose consciousness can be portrayed as a dog, are consumed with the faux-knowledge of this world, and are incapable of comprehending what is Holy. Of those people whose consciousness can be portrayed as dogs and swine the Apostle Peter stated: "Of them the proverbs are true: 'A dog returns to its vomit, and, A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud'" (2 Peter 2:22).
The teaching in the Gospel of Philip then states that "...to the slaves he will give the elementary" -- i.e., while one portrayed as a slave is immersed in spiritual work or service, their immature thoughts and consciousness remains in the bondage of a servant, slave or faith-based worshiper. Of those who have travailed in TheWay and have become children of the Kingdom, the above translation states "...to the Sons he will present the perfect". In the alternate translation it is stated that "To the slaves he will give only the elementary lessons, to the children he will give the complete instruction". Only the Children of the Kingdom who have transformed and overcome their lower animal nature -- overcome all inner division which enables them to be nourished by the Life-Giving Fruit of the Tree of Life -- are able to receive and comprehend with Wholeness the "complete instruction" directly from The True Prophet.
Of Slaves And Sons Of The Kingdom: The reality portrayed in the above as "..."the slaves [who receive] only the elementary lessons [versus] the children [who receive] the complete instruction". A similar realty with respect to the spiritual condition and level of believers is presented by the Church Father Origen where he observes this same great truth being conveyed in an early Christian scripture known as the Shepherd of Hermas, and he writes: “Hermas is commanded to write two little books, and afterwards to announce to the presbyters of the Church what he learned from the Spirit. For these are the words that are written: 'And you will write,' he says, 'two books; and you will give the one to Clement, and the other to Grapte. And let Grapte admonish the widows and orphans, and let Clement send through all the cities which are abroad, while you will announce to the presbyters of the Church.' Grapte, accordingly, who is commanded to admonish the orphans and widows, is the pure understanding of the letter itself; by which those youthful minds are admonished, who have not yet deserved to have God as their Father, and are on that account styled orphans. They, again, are the widows, who have withdrawn themselves from the unjust man, to whom they had been united contrary to law; but who have remained widows, because they have not yet advanced to the stage of being joined to a heavenly Bridegroom. Clement, moreover, is ordered to send into those cities which are abroad what is written to those individuals who already are withdrawing from the letter -- as if the meaning were to those souls who, being built up by this means, have begun to rise above the cares of the body and the desires of the flesh; while he himself, who had learned from the Holy Spirit, is commanded to announce, not by letter nor by book, but by the living voice, to the presbyters of the Church of Christ, i.e., to those who possess a mature faculty of wisdom, capable of receiving spiritual teaching”.
When James, the brother of Jesus writes that: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world” (James 1:27 NIV), he is not saying that pure religion is to look after the wives and children of those whose husband and father has died. Widows and orphans are those believers who are still carnal in nature. It is these believers who see only the letter -- or body -- of the scriptures, of which Origen writes whose “youthful minds are admonished, who have not yet deserved to have God as their Father [not yet Children of the Kingdom], and are on that account styled orphans”. With regard to widows Origen writes: “They, again, are the widows, who have withdrawn themselves from the unjust man, to whom they had been united contrary to law; but who have remained widows, because they have not yet advanced to the stage of being joined to a heavenly Bridegroom”. The unjust man is the citizen of the far country in the parable of the prodigal son -- i.e., the god of this world. Thus, widows and orphans do not represent widows and orphans in accordance with our understanding of these terms, but rather they represent stages of spiritual growth. Moreover, because of our modern politically correct mindset where the Bible is at time viewed as sexist, in these words we must perceive that the term widows is used with respect to both men and women. We can never get a right sense of either the scriptures, or life, until we begin to realize that all of us are reflective with respect to our soul, and therefore we are often rightfully portrayed in the feminine gender.
In the words of James: Pure religion consecrated by the Father is for the disciple to be of the spirit, minister to the orphans and widows, while keeping oneself “unspotted from the world” (KJV). Unspotted denotes that condition where one has absolutely no part of the world, with the exception of ones manifestation as a spiritual presence. It is these unspotted individuals who are those who have been reborn into the spirit, and have totally manifested the Light of Christ in their lives. Widows and orphans see only the body of the scriptures, and are yet carnal believers who the Apostle Paul describes as the Christians of the simple faith. We can see the next stage of development in Origen's words as he describes those who are more mature: “Clement, moreover, is ordered to send into those cities which are abroad what is written to those individuals who already are withdrawing from the letter -- as if the meaning were to those souls who, being built up by this means, have begun to rise above the cares of the body and the desires of the flesh”. Those who are abroad are the people who have transversed the sea of spiritual cleansing, and have risen above the “cares of the body and the desires of the flesh”. It is these men and women who have consecrated their lives in the pursuit of Truth, that will see the mind of the scriptures in their quest to walk in TheWay.
With regard to the more mature in Christ, Origen writes of Hermas: “…while he himself, who had learned from the Holy Spirit, is commanded to announce, not by letter nor by book, but by the living voice, to the presbyters of the Church of Christ, i.e., to those who possess a mature faculty of wisdom, capable of receiving spiritual teaching”. The name Hermas means the “messenger” -- thus it is only the spiritual Christians who have overcome their lower animal natures, and have become true Children of the Kingdom, are able to hear the Shepherd -- or in the Shepherd of Hermas, the Living voice of the Indwelling Logos. Clement means merciful -- and it is only those who are themselves walking in TheWay, who receive the mercy of the Lord. The widows and orphans -- or those believers who remain of the flesh and see only the letter of the scriptures and the exoteric doctrine or good news of the Christ -- must spiritually mature in order to begin to receive from the Lord, perceive the Gospel of God, and enter the Kingdom. As stated in the above, those who are ruled over by their lower animal natures are blind to both the spiritual meaning of the scriptures, and the higher reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom.
The Audacity Of Abject Ignorance: After reading the foregoing where the biblical authors warn that it is impossible for a man of a "natural" human consciousness to read the literal text of the scriptures and discern the truth, and understand the inner spiritual meaning of the written word, every SINCERE Christian should want to know why Paul warned that it was impossible for the baptized and confirmed Christians to understand the true meaning of the scriptures, and why these same baptized and confirmed Christians would reject the higher knowledge of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom as utter "foolishness"? This is not a reality that the intelligent and conscientious seeker can just skim over and ignore. Further, that the body of Bible readers are warned that whatever is written in the text possesses a deeper unseen meaning that is incomprehensible from a "natural" human perspective, also simply skipped over and ignored by the vast majority of faith-based believers. Which is why Paul warns that you cannot simply read the written word of the scriptuers and discern the higher truth of the Gospel -- even portraying the literal text of the scriptures as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" (see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14). Yet, the vast majority of Christians throughout history have chosen to totally ignore this warning -- to the degree that the Christian world has come to embody the reality portrayed in the very words of Jesus when he was asked why he only spoke to the multitudes in parables, and stated: “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding” (Mark 4:11-12 NIV). Which reality of imposed deafness, blindness and barrier to understanding prompted the Wycliffe Bible Commentary to write that: “…the initiate was instructed in the esoteric teaching... which was not revealed to outsiders… The mystery of the kingdom in its ultimate development is the full-orbed message of the Gospel (Rom 16:25-26). The purpose of parables was to instruct the initiates without revealing the items of instruction to the ones who were without. This is in keeping with the Biblical principle that spiritual understanding is restricted to those who have become spiritual...” With the far-reaching implications embodied in the reality that "...spiritual understanding is restricted to those who have become spiritual...”.
What is clear is the fact that neither Jesus or Paul could speak plainly to the people they taught. Jesus went as far as stating that the "...secret of the kingdom of God" only belonged to his select few disciples who had left home and totally abandoned the ways of this world -- which embodied the meaning and condition of mind portrayed in the word Ebionite, meaning the "poor-ones" -- and followed Jesus daily. Allegorically, in the greater parbolic foundation of the scriptures, each of the cities and villages that Jesus and his disciples are portrayed as entering -- teaching and healing the people by restoring them to Wholeness -- corresponds to the centers of the seeker's own mind that must be evolved and transformed. But this is only understood by the few who themselves travail in TheWay, and strive to bring about their own threefold (physical, mental and spiritual) transformation that enables them to evolve beyond the "animal-soul" level of organic man.
Paul portrayed the faith-based Christians as "babes in Christ" who were only capable of receiving the "milk" of the Gospel because they were still "natural" organic men who was said to be of an "animal-soul" level of spiritual immaturity. Which provokes the question: What makes the modern person -- and even the modern believer -- any different than the baptized believers who Paul personally instructed and taught? Sadly, the only answer is: Absolutely Nothing! In the same way that Paul warned that because of the immature condition of mind that he portrayed as still being of a "natural" (human) consciousness, the Christians who he personally instructed into the "traditions" of the Christ, were only capable of receiving the "milk" of the Gospel -- and would reject the higher knowledge of the Gospel as utter "foolishness" if he was to dare to even speak of man's higher soul and spiritual reality. Why? Because in the same way that an infant does not possess the developed facilities of mind to comprehend at a university graduate level, neither does "natural" organic man possess the necessary facilities of mind to comprehend either the spiritual meaning of the scriptures, or the higher reality of their own Soul. And this inability of those who Paul portrayed as "natural" organic man to comprehend the higher knowledge of the soul and spirit was referenced by the 2nd century Bishop Clement of Alexandria in the profound statement: “The Lord… allowed us to communicate to those Divine Mysteries, and of that holy light, to those who are able to receive them. He did not certainly disclose to the many what did not belong to the many; but to the few to whom He knew that they belonged, who were capable of receiving and being molded according to them”.
That the higher spiritual knowledge and meaning of the Gospel could only be received by those who had properly purified and prepared themselves to receive this higher knowledge, was presented in the words of the Church Father Origen when he explained: “Whoever has clean hands, and therefore lifts up holy hands to God… let him come to us… Whoever is pure, not only from all defilement, but from what are regarded as lesser transgressions, let him be boldly initiated into the mysteries of Jesus, which properly are made known only to the holy and the pure… To those who have been purified in heart, he whose soul has for a long time, been conscious of no evil, especially since he yielded himself to the healing of the Word, let such a one hear the doctrines which were spoken in private by Jesus to his genuine disciples”. Which provokes the all-important question: How does a person become spiritual? The long ignored answer is that there are no shortcuts or dispensations -- and that the only means to fulfill the requirement which brings about the transformation of the seeker is for them to live and sincerely embrace the Original Gospel Teachings in word, thought, desire and deed. With the bottom line being that to Possess the Truth, one must surrender and themselves become Possessed by the Truth -- and the Truth, alone. And until the seeker/disciple begins to bring this transformative condition about in their daily lives, they will remain deaf, dumb and blind to both the true meaning of the scriptures, as well as the higher reality of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God. Which is confirmed by the Apostle in the words: “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught” (1 Cor 2:6 KJV). Throughout all of Christian history, the body of believers who Paul portrayed as too "carnal" to receive and understand the higher knowledge of the spirit, have been unable to understand the Apostle's words when he wrote: “But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away” (1 Cor 13:10 KJV). The dilemma is that if a Christian fails to go beyond the milk of the gospel, “that which is perfect” can never come. The carnal believer never embraces the words: “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Tim 3:17 KJV).
As stated in the above, while the word Gnosis portrays a type of Knowledge, it in no way means the knowledge of this world that can be taught by other men, written in books, or received from any other Source than directly from God. Under the heading of Gnosticism, the Encyclopedia Britannica states: “Among the majority of the followers of the movement, 'Gnosis' was understood not as meaning 'knowledge' or 'understanding', in our sense of the word, but 'revelation'. These little Gnostic sects and groups all lived in the conviction that they possessed a secret and mysterious knowledge, in no way accessible to those outside, which was not to be proved or propagated, but believed in by the initiated, and anxiously guarded as a secret. This knowledge of theirs was not based on reflection, on scientific inquiry and proof, but on revelation. It was derived directly from the times of primitive Christianity, from the Savior himself and from his disciples and friends, with whom they claimed to be connected by a secret tradition, or else from later prophets, of whom many sects boasted. It was laid down in wonderful mystic writings, which were in the possession of the various circles”. Those Christians who had prepared themselves to receive the Higher Knowledge imparted directly to them by the Logos, must be understood as the Christians who Paul portrayed as having gone beyond the "milk" of the Gospel, and were able to receive the "solid food" from Spirit -- i.e., “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit” (1 Cor 2:10 KJV).
Regarding these two groups of Christians -- i.e., the faith-based entry-level Christians who could only be given what Paul called the "testimony" of Christ- - and the mature Christians who were no longer in need of the "milk" of the Gospel intended to nourish "babes in Christ", Smith and Wace's Dictionary of Christian Biography states: “We have no reason to think that the earliest Gnostics intended to found sects separated from the Church and called after their own names. Their disciples were to be Christians, elevated above the rest as acquainted with deeper mysteries, and called Gnostikoi because possessed of a Gnosis superior to the simple faith of the multitude… They also boasted to be in possession of genuine apostolical traditions, deriving their doctrines, some from St. Paul, others from St. Peter, and others again from Judas, Thomas, Philip, and Matthew. In addition moreover, to [this] secret doctrine which they professed to have received by oral tradition, they appealed also to alleged writings of the apostles themselves or their disciples”. Which, while ignored by the faith-based Christians, is confirmed in the ignored words of Jesus when he was asked by his disciples why he ONLY spoke to the multitudes in parables: “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding” (Mark 4:11-12 NIV).
The disciples and original Ebionite Nazirene followers of Jesus understood that they could know and possess all the Spiritual Knowledge (Gnosis) that Jesus possessed -- and they were able to do all the works that Jesus did -- because he was a man just as they were. The original Gospels taught that Jesus was a holy man who became At-One with the Indwelling Logos -- with the voice of the Father saying to mankind at the baptism in the Jordan: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" (see TheTenWords.com ). But these words of God that were spoken as much about Jesus as they were about all of mankind -- and in reference to Jesus becoming the Son of God at his baptism in the Jordan -- was changed and corrupted in the fourth century. To even suggest as the Church has done, that the very disciples who walked with Jesus daily -- talked with him daily -- the disciple who Jesus personally taught about God and both his and their relationship to the Father -- those who Jesus said were a witness to the Truth and TheWay -- that these same disciples (in the words of the later Church leaders) were too ignorant, or too Jewish, to understand what Jesus taught -- must be representative of the greatest religious fraud and deception known to man. And yet, regardless of the facts, this same fraud and deception continues to be preached from the pulpits of most Churches -- spiritually disenfranchising the Christian world to this very day!!!
Contrary to what the later deception which the Church of Rome promoted, the Gospels emphatically state that these same disciples were representative of a witness to the Truth and TheWay that Jesus taught -- and to even suggest that they were themselves too ignorant, or too Jewish to understand these teachings, is representative of the greatest religious hoax that has ever been perpetuated upon mankind. The Book of Acts testifies to the fact that Jesus further instructed the disciples through the Holy Spirit -- i.e., "after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen" (Acts 1:2-3 NIV). And these same disciples witnessed to the fact that "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him" (Acts 10:38 NIV). They portrayed Jesus as "...a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst" (Acts 2:22 NKJV). But in the fourth century the segment of the Church who entered into a covenant relationship with the Pagan Emperor Constantine not only rejected the witness of the disciples who personally knew Jesus, that he was a man who was Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by God -- but they changed the very words of God spoken to mankind -- i.e., "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee".
What these original Ten Words spoken by the Father to mankind presented, was that the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus remained totally faithful to the Gospel teachings. If, as the very words of God spoken to mankind stated, that Jesus became the Messiah (Anointed) and Son of God by living the necessary Consecrated Life that enabled him to fulfill the Law within himself, then the truth of the Gospel is found in the witness of the Ebionites who held firmly to the position that Jesus "...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ" see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34). With the true objective of the original teachings presented in the words of Hippolytus where he stated that the original Ebionite Nazirenes "...assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34). Which means that every man and woman who walks the face of the earth has the same potential as their elder brother Jesus -- if the Gospel teachings of TheWay are intimately embraced and followed to their spiritual conclusion.
When the Ebionite Nazirenes make reference to the Law, this very much includes the Laws of Creation as portrayed in the words "...the designs/laws found throughout Nature and all of Creation". That the historical man Jesus was a pattern for all of mankind because of his success in overcoming the Laws, is demonstrated in the words: "He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ..." And this confirms this statement with respect to the true potential of all of mankind that Jesus taught, as demonstrated in the words of Hippolytus when he wrote that they believed that when anyone "...thus fulfill the law, they are able to become Christs" (Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see http://Ebionite.com ). And this is why Jesus taught that he was our brother -- i.e., "Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'" (John 20:17 NIV).
When the scriptures portray the need to fulfill the Law, it is not the allegorically portrayed Law presented in the Torah and Old Testament scriptures -- but rather, the Law that evolves our mind and consciousness which enables us to attain Spiritual Maturity. All of Creation is moved and controlled by Laws. When a sperm and ovum are united to form an embryo -- and that embryo begins to evolve into a fetus and infant -- it is the Natural Laws that brings about the necessary development that forms the living body that is able to accommodate the mind of man. When mankind emerges from the womb of its mother, man enters what can be portrayed as the womb of mother-earth -- and this secondary womb provides the environment for the mind of man to develop and mature. BUT, while the formation of a physical body is completed in accord with the universal requirements of mankind -- in the development of mind the very process requires the person to make choices in their lives. Where the formation of the body can be portrayed as robotic, this is not the case in the formation of the mind that must be built level upon level of comprehension. And while The Law functioning within our mind has the potential to evolve each of us to the zenith of comprehension, true development can only be brought about when man has the ability to make choices, and then learn from the choices he has made. And it is the Natural Laws functioning within each of us that is the controlling factor of our development -- and the catalysts for the controlling factor of the Laws working within us, is based upon the choices we make as set forth in the subheading The Living Bio-Feedback Organism that molds and interacts with us, step by step, in accord with the choices we make throughout every aspect of the life we are living And while what is referred to as the Law or Torah of God has been set forth in the written text of the scriptures, what is presented is an allegorical portrayal of the Laws and Forces of Mind and Consciousness within the spectrum of the Cosmology of Mind and Being. And that what is presented in the literal text of the scriptures is allegorical, is why Paul portrayed the written text of the scriptures as "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" (see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14). And it is the Higher Law that is spiritual and allegorically portrayed, that the historical man Jesus fulfilled within himself to become the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) and move into a state of At-Oneness with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God. That the historical Jesus was a true holy man who became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by fulfilling the Royal Law within himself, is attested to at Acts 2:22 where Jesus is portrayed as "a man, attested to you by God" -- and this was demonstrated by God performing "mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst". If Jesus was himself God incarnate as believed by the later Romans, then these words portraying Jesus as a man approved by God through the works and wonders that God did through him, never would have been presented in this manner.
Animal Sacrifice And The Living Temple:
When the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples and followers of Jesus
expressed the need to fulfill the Law, it was not the literal allegorical
text of the Torah which is observed in outward ritual and tradition in the
manner of the Jews that was being made reference to -- but rather, the
Universal Law of Mind and Spirit that is allegorically presented and
functioning within each and every one of us. Therefore, when the
Ebionite Nazirene were portrayed as being Torah Observant, the Law was
therefore observed in the exact manner that Jesus said was necessary --
i.e., "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for
nothing. The words I have spoken to you--they are full of the Spirit and
life" (John 6:63).
In recognition of the existence of
man's lower animal nature that not only rules over man's consciousness, but
in the words of Paul presented above limits his comprehension and
development, it is important to understand man's motivation to perform
animal sacrifice as a part of his religion. Which provokes the
question: Did God in the Old Testament require animal sacrifice? Lets begin
my answer to this question by quoting the words of Moses Maimonedes, one of
the most respected of Jewish theologians, historian, and Talmudist, where he
writes about the nature of scripture: “Every time
that you find in our books a tale the reality of which seems impossible, a
story which is repugnant to both reason and common sense, then be sure that
the tale contains a profound allegory veiling a deeply mysterious truth; and
the greater the absurdity of the letter, the deeper the wisdom of the
The heathen and pagan mind of the mainstream of Gentiles always had great difficulty in understanding the difference between the man Jesus, the Indwelling Logos/Son of God which is representative of the Mind of God (see The Logos), and the One Teacher which Jesus commanded all who would call themselves his disciples and followers, were to seek out and learn from (see The True Prophet).
In the article The Ten Words, it will be demonstrated that all the pre-Nicene Christian authors who quoted the baptism sequence in their copies of the Gospels, confirmed that prior to the fourth century editing of the scriptures by Pagan Rome, that the Gospels confirmed that Jesus was a holy man who became the Lord's Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by fulfilling and overcoming the Laws. Moreover, in addition to the six (6) pre-Nicene Christian authors who are cited in The Ten Words, this fact is further confirmed in the more ancient surviving biblical texts that modern translators continue to ignore to the spiritual pearl of the Christian world today. That the modern Church continues to reject the very words of God spoken to mankind, in favor of the censored and corrupted words of the fourth century Emperor of Pagan Rome, is the reason why the modern Church which has caused itself to be spiritually flat-lined, only possesses what Paul portrayed as the "elementary" doctrines that the Church Father Origen defined as being “...preached in the Churches …for the simpleminded and for the ears of the common crowd who are led on to live better lives by their belief” (see Origen, Contra Celsum).
If the original Gospels and the witness of the original disciples and followers of Jesus is true -- and the objective of the original teachings is to bring about a condition of mental and spiritual maturity -- thereby enabling each follower of TheWay to become the Anointed (Messiah/Christ -- then it can be stated that the modern Church dogma has virtually little in common with the original teachings of TheWay. The difference being whether Jesus was a holy man who became At-One with the Indwelling Logos (aka Son of God/True Prophet), or whether the Church of Constantine was correct in their assertion that Jesus was God-Incarnate? The Adam Clark Commentary with regard to the passage at Hebrews 1:5 where Paul quotes the original Gospel statement that the Father said of Jesus: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" Where the Adam Clark Commentary states: “This most important use of this saying has passed unnoticed by almost every Christian writer which I have seen; and yet it lies here at the foundation of all the apostle's proofs. If Jesus was not thus the Son of God, the whole Christian system is vain and baseless:..." If the original Gospels are correct -- which teaching was confirmed by the original (Ebionite/Nazirene) disciples and followers of Jesus -- that he was a Holy Man who became At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God who was portrayed as The True Prophet, then the whole focus of the modern Church dogma is indeed "...vain and baseless".
The Corrupting Factor Of All Religions: There will never be One True Religion, because while all genuine religions begin and start their sojourn in the world as Truth, they quickly become corrupted by the counterfeit clergy and secular authorities who hijack the religion, and make it into a system to maintain power and authority over the masses. As an example: While the Original Gospel teachings of Jesus known as TheWay can easily be demonstrated to be a Universal Truth, the Original teachings remain unknown today -- and would be portrayed as heresy by the modern Church.
Throughout all the scriptures of mankind there are many statements pertaining to the teaching that God knows the thoughts of the heart -- and it is these thoughts of the heart that is the requirement to receive Spiritual Knowledge (aka Divine Manna and Gnosis) directly from the Logos (aka Son of God, Teacher of Righteousness and True Prophet). The problem is that no sooner are pure religious teachings and truths presented to mankind, than they are just as quickly corrupted. Christianity came into existence in order to correct the corruptions of Judaism -- Islam came into existence to correct the corruptions of Christianity -- and in answer to man's desire for greater knowledge and truth, the Dead Sea Scrolls and Nag Hammadi Library of Christian scriptures were discovered which provide clarity and greater spiritual substance EQUALLY, to all three Western religions. But because few believers understood the important relevance of these scriptures, the present-day writings associated with the teachings of TheWay have come into being to restore the path of return for mankind who are equally portrayed as the lost prodigal son -- and these teachings are EQUALLY relevant to each of the three Western religions. And we can take this one step further in the declaration that all three religions -- i.e., Judaism, Christianity and Islam, have all emerged from the same Source. What this means is that when rightly understood, AT THEIR SPIRITUAL CORE, PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES, not only is there no difference between Judaism, Christianity and Islam, but they were authored by the same group of souls who have continually entered this world to guide sincere seekers in TheWay. And when rightly understood, what unfolds is the very essence of the perpetual war detailed in the writings of the Essenes between the Sons of Light and the sons of darkness -- being waged over the course of many lifetimes where the struggle continues from age to age to age.
In the same way that the same group of souls have continually entered this world to restore Truth and TheWay, an opposing group of souls who have been hailed as man's religious and secular leaders, have perpetually corrupted these teachings that man who is portrayed as the lost prodigal son, must possess to return to his Source in the Edenic Kingdom of Origination. Thus, in order to protect and preserve the body of essential teachings that enable sincere seekers to bring about their own Spiritual Regeneration, Birth and Restoral -- i.e., remove the beam first from their own eyes, before attempting to remove the splinter from the eyes of their brothers and sisters -- that group of souls who have been perpetually sent into this world to guide seekers in TheWay, developed a CODE in which they composed their Sacred Writings that would enable them to Restore and Regenerate their own Spiritual Nature, which ability to Self-Transform themselves enabled them to effectively Restore the body of Knowledge which enabled them to convey to sincere seekers the means to acquire and receive the Divine Manna (Gnosis) of Light directly from the Indwelling Logos/Son of God. In the same way that the Gospels portray the sending forth of the seventy to announce the good news of the Kingdom, highly advanced souls have been sent to faithful flocks of seekers across the spectrum of Time, in order to guide them in TheWay. And while this group of souls have been perpetually hunted down as heretics by the Church, they have guided countless sincere seekers in TheWay into the Kingdom and the Light. And of these few the Gospel states: "These things I have spoken to you, that you may be kept from stumbling. They will make you outcasts from the synagogue, but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God" (John 16:1-2 NAS). Why is it important to understand why those who portray themselves as righteous Jews, Christians and Muslims will hunt the true shepherds of TheWay down and portray their death as "...offering service to God"? Because their religions have become so corrupted, and they are functioning from what is portrayed in the above as an animal-soul level of consciousness, that they are blind to the Truth.
Ultimately, the cycles of corruption that attacks all True Religions, is all a necessary part of Truth reaching all of the lost prodigal sons who blindly dwell and are lost in this, the Far Country and Outer Darkness of Mind and Being that is parallel to the analogy of Plato's Cave of Illusions. Organic man who in his Epistles Paul portrays as being of an animal-soul level of consciousness, cannot comprehend his own higher soul and spiritual reality. And thus, the corrupting of the religions is a natural trickle-down effect of important concepts and teachings reaching the greater number of people. In the same way that Paul could not in any manner convey to the baptized and committed Christians who he taught the true spiritual teachings of the Gospel -- and could only preach to them the allegory of Jesus and him crucified (1 Cor 2:2): “I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able” (1 Cor 3:2 NAS) -- these important teachings cannot be receive by any of the clergy of faith-based believers who have not themselves evolved through the process of physical refinement, transformation and rebirth.
The Christian Church in its pre-Nicene form was a Center for Spiritual Healing and Advancement (see The Secret Doctrine). In the same way that our modern educational systems are divided into primary or basic education, and secondary colleges and universities, the Church was always divided by the believers of the simple-faith who could only grasp the elementary doctrines of faith, and the more advanced groups which guided the serious seeker/disciples in TheWay. Of these two groups of Christians, Smith and Wace's Dictionary of Christian Biography states: “We have no reason to think that the earliest Gnostics intended to found sects separated from the Church and called after their own names.
What few students of the Bible realize and understand today, is the reality that the author's of the scriptures composed their Sacred Writing in order to be retrieved when their own Soul returns to this world in a future life. They knew in advance that even if it were possible to create a literal document whereby there would be a clear and direct proclamation of Truth, that such a document would be immediately corrupted once placed in the hands of charlatan priests and self-serving rulers. Thomas Paine portrayed this natural corrupting factor as "priest-craft" -- i.e., the term priest-craft is defined at vocabulary.com as: "a derogatory reference to priests who use their influence to control secular or political affairs." They then provide examples of how the phrase has been historically used: "The antisacerdotal heresies were directed against the abuses in doctrine and practice which priestcraft had invented to enslave the souls of men" Lea, Henry Charles) -- "The religious instinct has been perverted, turned into wrong channels, made subservient to priestcraft and kingcraft, but its basic principle remains for ever firm" (Westbrook, Richard B) -- "Credulity, and superstition her twin sister, have in all ages been the source whence priestcraft, and quackery have derived their wealth" (J. G. Millingen). Just how corrupt was the Church in the Middle Ages? Martin Luther wrote in a letter to Pope Leo X on September 6th, 1520, portraying the Christianity of his day, that the church, “…once the holiest of all, has become the most licentious den of thieves, the most shameless of all brothels, the kingdom of sin, death, and hell. It is so bad that even Antichrist himself, if he should come, could think of nothing to add to its wickedness” (Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled by George Seldes).
In all of the foregoing examples of historical insight, the process of corruption via priest-craft is portrayed as a perpetual process that alienates the people from the Truth and disenfranchises the lost prodigal sons and daughters from their inheritance as the divine offspring of Creator-God. Which means that if the souls who were portrayed as the Son's of Light in the Dead Sea Scrolls did not employ a means to prevail over the perpetual corrupting process of priest-craft, then all of their work and labors would have been forever lost and destroyed.
The American People are presently dwelling in what must be recognized as an unparalleled and unique time -- in that, for the first time those who Know the Truth, are free to convey Truth openly, to a large group of people. And because of the efforts and blood spilt by our Constitutional Framers (see ThomasPaineRedux.com ), this Truth has been made available on a world-wide basis. Throughout man's often dark and violent past, truth was exclusively defined as what was endorsed or acceptable to the ruling religious or secular authority. And today we see an attempt by the secular leaders to undermine the American Constitution, which will once again open the door to future rule by priest-craft and king-craft.
The Historical Dilemma: After the above corrupting factor took place, it can rightly be stated that the modern Church has virtually nothing in common with the original teachings of Jesus known as TheWay. In an interview with Brian Brian McLaren by Christianity Today, he is quoted as stating: "One of the problems is that the average Christian in the average church who listens to the average Christian broadcasting has such an oversimplified understanding of both the Bible and of church history - it would be deeply disturbing for them to really learn about church history" (see Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right) -- to which statement we must pose the question: Does it matter? If the very people who Jesus personally taught believed what can only be portrayed as radically different than the beliefs that the Church adopted when they entered a covenant with Pagan Rome -- whereby Church dogma became subject to the dictates of the emperor who was a pagan, and not even baptized. If it can be proven that core principles embraced by those who Jesus personally taught, are rejected as heresy today. And if it can be demonstrated that Jesus rejected the Pharisees because they had thrown away what he portrayed as the Key of Knowledge in their dogmatic interpretations of the scriptures -- a reality that was repeated by the Church as it became institutionalized and secularized under Pagan Rome -- and because the modern Christian world remains totally ignorant of what really transpired in the first century -- and themselves have in like manner thrown away the Key of Knowledge that Jesus taught was crucial to unlocking the true meaning of the written word of the scriptures -- then this would confirm the reality that the Christian world is presently dwelling in a self-imposed Spiritual Diaspora -- worshiping what Paul warned was the god of this world -- dwelling in what can only be called the abyss of spiritual ignorance.
While the Church remains in denial of the historical facts which demonstrate that the first followers of Jesus were known as Ebionites (the poor one's) -- that not only his brother was the first leader of the Ebionite Jerusalem Congregation -- but that his mother and family were also members of the Ebionite community. In The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Gibbon notes that the teachings of Jesus was “…embraced by great numbers of the Therapeutae, or Essinians…”, and wrote that: “Le Clerc (Hist. Ecclesiast p. 477, 535) seems to have collected from Eusebius, Jerome, Epiphanius, and other writers, all the principle circumstances that relate to the Nazarenes or Ebionites. The nature of their opinions soon divided them into a stricter and milder sect; and there is some reason to conjecture that the family of Jesus remained members, at least, of the latter and more moderate party”. Of course today, in view of modern findings, we know that Gibbon was in error -- i.e., the Therapeutae and Essenes did not embrace the new teachings, they were the very environment from which the historical man Jesus emerged. But more importantly from a modern Christian perspective is the fact that the Church of today has absolutely nothing in common with this foundational spiritual environment -- and neither does the Christian world have anything in common with the people that Jesus originally taught the Gospel message and the Mysteries of the Kingdom.
How can this be? You ask? How can the dogma of the Church be in conflict with the teachings of the original disciples and followers of the historical Jesus? A. Powell Davies warned the Christian world that discoveries such as the Dead Sea Scrolls had confirmed what they had known all along -- that the Roman Church created the divinity of Jesus -- i.e., “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” (quoted by Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls). Worse yet, Edmund Wilson, an expert who worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls, further raised the question as to what difference it makes if “Jesus... had been trained in the discipline and imbued with the thought of a certain Jewish sect, and that he had learned from it the role that he afterwards lived...” (The Scrolls From The Dead Sea). To the uninformed and unknowing believer, it made all the difference in the world! If Jesus was an Essene who lived a holy and consecrated life, fulfilling the Law within himself so completely, that he became the Messiah/Christ -- i.e., At-One with the indwelling Logos/Son of God at his baptism as stated by all Church Authorities prior to the fourth century Nicene Council held by the Roman Emperor Constantine (see The Ten Words) -- then the Adam Clark Bible Commentary is correct when it states that "...the whole Christian system is vain and baseless"!!! When Prof. John Allegro was quoted as saying that what has been revealed in the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls is a great amount of overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church. This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers. The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine” (August 1966 issue of Harpers Magazine); what he was in fact stating is that, everything that we now know about Christian beginnings demonstrate that the Essene/Ebionites were not the heretics they were falsely portrayed by the later Gentile church, but were in fact the body of genuine believers that held fast to the authentic teachings of Jesus and the New Covenant. That the Ebionites who were condemned by the later Roman Church who created the Jesus-god myth, were correct -- and that the Gentiles were too heathen to comprehend the teachings of Jesus and TheWay. Thus, the Encyclopedia Britannica writes: "Most of the features of Ebionite doctrine were anticipated in the teachings of the earlier Qumran sect, as revealed in the Dead Sea Scrolls. They believed in one God and taught that Jesus was the Messiah and was the true 'prophet' mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:15. They rejected the Virgin Birth of Jesus, instead holding that he was the natural son of Joseph and Mary. The Ebionites believed Jesus became the Messiah because he obeyed the Jewish Law. They themselves faithfully followed the Law, although they removed what they regarded as interpolations in order to uphold their teachings, which included vegetarianism, holy poverty, ritual ablutions, and the rejection of animal sacrifices. The Ebionites also held Jerusalem in great veneration."
Did the mother of Jesus who was herself a member of the Ebionites, not know of the virgin birth? Or, does the allegory of the Virgin Birth present an important teaching that the Church is totally ignorant of today? While it is easily proven that the original Gospels did not contain the virgin birth narrative which was added at a later time to those copies of the Gospels used by the Greeks, it is important to understand the true meaning of the virgin birth -- an important spiritual meaning that the modern Christian world is totally unaware of today. But to even acknowledge this fact, has the effect of opening the great Pandora's Box of infinite dogmatic error that confuses and divides the religious world today. Why? When Jesus condemned and rejected the Pharisees as heretics, it was because they were counterfeit shepherds who had -- in their carnal interpretations of the scriptures which Paul portrayed as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" -- they had thrown away what Jesus called The Key of Knowledge which must be turned within one's self. And yet, the modern Christian is absolutely clueless as to what the Key of Knowledge is, and hasn't the slightest idea how to properly apply it. If you ask the modern faith-based Christian how Jesus taught to apply the Key of Knowledge to gain immediate access to the Kingdom -- and even to come into the direct presence of what Jesus portrayed as the One Teacher -- a Teacher which his disciples called The True Prophet -- the modern faith-based believer will look at you with clueless abandon in their eyes. Why? Because this most important core teaching of the Original Gospel that was understood by the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples, was thrown away by the later Church which called themselves Orthodox -- a Church that Paul warned would worship the AntiChrist in place of God (see Church Of The Anti-Christ) -- a Church which cast mankind into the Dark Ages from which they have yet to emerge.
The fact that the scriptures which the present-day Church champions, was written by Ebionite Nazirene Mystics and Spiritual Visionaries who viewed the sacred writings from an entirely different perspective than the modern believers -- and the path of TheWay which Jesus taught was the only means to enter the Kingdom -- the cruel facts in the believer's confrontation with An Inconvenient Truth and Spiritual Reality, is that the modern Christian is merely a latter-day Pharisee who has installed the dogma and traditions of men above the Truth and the quest to seek the Kingdom of God. And while the above can easily be factually proven, the Christian world chooses to remain faithful to the doctrines of Roman emperors and their appointed carnal priests, while rejecting the Truth of the Original Gospel. If it is true that Jesus condemned the Pharisees as counterfeit leaders because, having thrown away the Key of Knowledge, they were rendered blind shepherds who guided the people in the wrong direction -- then the same is true of the Church today.
What Christians today fail to realize is the fact that the original Ebionite/Nazirene followers and disciples of Jesus believed very differently than people today -- so different, that it can be said that modern Christians follow a totally different religion than that which was taught by Jesus. In fact, the beliefs of the original followers of Jesus were so different than either Judaism or that of the later Church, that it was said of them that they were “…rejected from one religion as apostates, and from the other as heretics” (Gibbon: Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, v.1, p.416).
Why were the original disciples and teachings rejected by the later Roman Church? While no one throughout Christian history has ever questioned the resurrection and the Sonship of Jesus, what has been questioned is when the man Jesus became the Messiah/Christ -- or Anointed One of God -- as well as what it means to be the Anointed of God. And while the Christian world fervently studies their Bibles, there exists ten words that so totally alters our perception and understanding of the life of Jesus and the core principles and objectives of the Gospel, that every modern-day doctrine of the church would have to be radically revised in light of these ten words. To the degree that the restoral of these ten words would bring about a rebirth of the Gospel message in a way that would totally eliminate all the doctrinal confusion and factions that divide the Christian world today. Further, once these ten words are acknowledged, the original Ebionite/Nazirene followers of Jesus are no longer viewed as heretics -- but rather, the true and faithful disciples of TheWay!
In the same way that the fourth century Church persecuted and murdered the Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus because of these ten words which were the original words spoken by God to mankind at Jesus' baptism in the Jordan -- it remains true that when these original ten words are restored to their rightful place in the Gospel message, that the whole focus of the Gospel message becomes radically changed. To the degree that one Christian Bible Commentary states that if these Ten Words are True, then the present day doctrines of the Church are “vain and baseless”.
While modern Christians who believe in the doctrine of the Trinity believe that Jesus was God, this doctrine would have to be immediately rejected when the correct ten words are restored to their rightful place in the scriptures. With regard to when these words were spoken, Christian history also tells us that these words were in fact said to Jesus: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee". The problem is that, with the exception of a footnote at the baptism of Jesus in the Revised Standard Version, these words are no longer contained in our Bibles today. What the footnote states is that many of the more ancient manuscripts read: "Today I have begotten thee", instead of "In thee I am well pleased" at Luke 3:22. Yet, this footnote in no measure portrays all the other citations which confirm that Jesus was a man who fulfilled the Law within himself, and became the Messiah/Christ, at his baptism -- and he did this by overcoming and fulfilling the Law. Which means that the primary goal of True Christians is to Imitate Christ -- i.e., “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matt 10:38-39 NKJ). Therefore, unless you bring about those conditions where you lose your worldly life on the Cross, then you cannot be a believer or follower of Messiah/Christ.
If God intended Jesus to be a one time perpetual sacrifice for the sins of man, then it never would have been stated that "...it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who ...then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). What this means is that the religion of Jesus in its original form was one of spiritual transformation -- and those who willfully sin, crucify the Son of God afresh, and "...there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." This is why Paul stated with respect to continue to living a sinful life: “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor” (Gal 2:17-18 KJV). Which confirms the alternate ending of the Gospel of Mark which reads: "This Age of lawlessness and unbelieving lies under the sway of Satan, who will not allow what lies under the unclean spirits to understand the truth and power of God; therefore, they said to Christ, reveal your righteousness now. Christ answered them, The term of years for Satan's power has now expired, but other terrors are at hand. I was delivered to death on behalf of sinners, that they might return to the truth and sin no more, that they might inherit that glory of righteousness which is spiritual and imperishable in heaven" (Moffatt, quoting Gospel Of Mark in Codex W - Also quoted by St. Jerome as being the authentic ending of the Gospel of Mark).
In a surviving excerpt of what has been historically known as the Gospel According to the Hebrews, which was reported to be the "original version of Matthew" that was composed in the Hebrew Characters, it was written: "If ye be in my bosom and do not the will of my Father which is in heaven, out of my bosom will I cast you away". In the late nineteenth century a library of scriptures was uncovered which is today known as the Oxyrhynchus Papyri -- wherein this verse is found reading: "Though ye be gathered together with me in my bosom, if ye do not my commandants, I will cast you forth". This same verse of scripture is quoted in what is historically known as the 2nd Epistle of Clement, where it is written: "Let us, then, not only call Him Lord, for that will not save us. For He saith, 'Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall be saved, but he that worketh righteousness' …For this reason… the Lord hath said, 'Even though ye were gathered together to me in my very bosom, yet if ye were not to keep my commandments, I would cast you off, and say unto you, Depart from me; I know you not whence ye are, ye workers of iniquity’". What these verses mean is that if you continue to sin after coming to Messiah/Christ, that you are an apostate to the teachings of TheWay, and "...there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries."
Paul's doctrine of faith vs the outward rituals of the Mosaic Law, is based upon the reality that if the disciple truly follows in TheWay -- doing as Jesus states and picking up their own cross in Imitation of Messiah/Christ -- that the Kingdom that Jesus taught was within each person (see http://GateOfEden.com ), will manifest within the body-mind of the disciple -- i.e., The Second Coming. When the Key of Knowledge is applied to the scriptures -- and they are turned within -- then the disciple becomes transformed into what is called The Final Temple (see http://TheThreeLies.com#temple ). Thus, this brings about the promised End Times or Second Coming within the mind and body of the faithful disciple of TheWay. That the Kingdom came within the body and mind of the disciples, is why Jesus stated “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place” (Luke 21:32 NAS). Which confirms the words: “There are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom” (Mt 16:28).
These, and other such spiritual concepts of a Kingdom that comes within the lives of those who pick up their own cross and travail in TheWay, were totally unacceptable to the heathen Church of Rome, and the scriptures were corrupted in order to make them support the doctrines of the emperor. That the Church has abandoned the original teachings of Jesus, and have ignored the facts when it is demonstrated that the Church of Rome corrupted the very words of God spoken to man, means that until the Church itself repents of this great sin against the Holy Spirit, they will remain under a cloud of ignorance in an exile state in a Spiritual Diaspora.
The Fatal Error Of The Church: The question must be posed: Can you just read the Gospels and know the truth? After Paul had personally taught the congregation of Christians at Corinth, he warned them that all he could give and teach them -- and all that they could receive and comprehend -- was the elementary Gospel teachings that were allegorically presented in what appeared to be an historical account of Jesus and him crucified. Paul portrayed these entry-level doctrines as the traditions of "Jesus and the crucifixion". This fact is explored and proven in the subheading entitled Mystery Of The Gospel. Even after personally teaching this Christian Congregation, Paul warns them that the higher reality of the soul and the Kingdom is so incomprehensible to man in his "natural" organic condition of mind, that if he even attempted to speak plainly with them in an attempt to convey man's higher reality of soul and spirit which they know absolutely nothing about, they would condemn and reject the spiritual meaning of the Gospel as utter "foolishness"!!! To even imagine that the modern Christian whose doctrines of belief are based upon what the Biblical scholars point out is the gravely flawed "..source and originality of Christian doctrine” that came into being in the fourth century -- and that the modern believer whose thinking has been imbued with this fourth century pagan dogma can merely open the Bible to confirm their beliefs -- and ignore the warning of Paul and the biblical authors that even those Christians who the Apostles personally taught and were of a more pure understanding could not comprehend the true meaning and the Mystery Of The Gospel, are a people asking to be deceived.
The Long Ignored Warning: Paul warns that the higher reality of the soul and the true meaning of the Gospel would be condemned and rejected as utter "foolishness" by the congregation of believers who he had himself taught. And one of the great inconceivable realities that the congregation of faith-based believers have rarely ever been able to come to terms with, is the fact that in a True Spiritual Religion there is only One Teacher -- and the seeker must therefore learn only from this One Teacher. To the degree that the Apostle Peter stated to his disciple Clement with respect to learning directly from what the first followers of Jesus portrayed as the True Prophet: “Hence, O beloved Clement, if you would know the things pertaining to God, you have to learn them from Him alone, because He alone knows the truth. For if any one else knows anything, he has received it from Him or from His disciples” (see True Prophet). And that man in his organic state of mind is incapable of understanding the true meaning of the scriptures, is demonstrated in the words of Peter when he warns that "...therefore great care is to be taken, that when the law of God is read, it be not read according to the understanding of our own mind. For there are many sayings in the divine Scriptures which can be drawn to that sense which every one has preconceived for himself; and this ought not to be done. For you ought not to seek a foreign and extraneous sense, which you have brought from without" (see The Spiritual Disenfranchisement Of The Mind). And what this statement warns is that because the people of this world rely upon their natural organic senses and mind to assess what they think they see -- failing to distinguish and understand that they dwell in a world of allegorical symbolism and forms that are an allusion/illusion -- that all those who base their conclusions and assumptions on human (organic) perception and reasoning, will remain dwelling under the cloak of ignorance in the "outer darkness" of mind and being (see Outer Darkness). And this is why Jesus taught his disciples to seek out and learn only from the One Teacher who is the True Prophet, who is the Only Source of Knowledge.
Where can the True Prophet and One Teacher be Found? While there are virtually countless opinions as to the meaning of the scriptures, only when the scriptures are turned within one's own self and used as the Key of Knowledge -- enabling the seeker to enter in at what is portrayed as the "narrow strait gate" within one's own mind and being (see The Third Fatal Mistake - Not Proving The Truth) -- gaining entrance to the Inner Kingdom -- can the seeker enter the Presence of the True Prophet/Son Of God/Logos -- and fulfill the commandment to learn only from the Source of All Truth.
When the modern believer opens the Gospels and envisions what he believes to be an historical account, they are totally ignorant of the fact that the authors of the Gospels did not at all write about history. And in the rejection and condemnation of the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus, the whole spiritual meaning and purpose of the Gospel remains an enigma to the Christian world today. Why were the Ebionites condemned and rejected as heretics? Because they rejected the very pagan doctrines of belief which were held by the Greeks and Romans who were too heathen to understand the spiritual essence of the Gospel teachings -- doctrines and beliefs which were essentially Mithraic, and has little in common with the original Gospel teachings and objectives. Historically, it is documented and warned that the most spiritual versions of the Gospels were never given over to the Gentiles (see Most Important Scriptures Never Given To The Gentiles). And because the Greeks and Romans were too heathen and pagan to understand the spiritual concepts that Jesus revealed to his core disciples, it was warned in the Epistle of Peter And James that, if this esoteric knowledge should ever become lost, that "...it will remain even for those who really seek the truth, always to wander in error" (see Always To Wander In Error). Why? Primarily, because they look outwardly for what can only come inwardly. And because the Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus, along with those Spiritual (Gnostic) Christians who faithfully preserved this framework of esoteric knowledge were hunted down and murdered by the Church of Constantine -- and their scriptures burnt and destroyed -- the Church had thrown away what Jesus portrayed as the Key of Knowledge which is necessary to unlock both the true meaning of the scriptures, -- which spiritual knowledge must be used to unlock and open the inner "narrow strait gate" that provides entrance to the Kingdom that Jesus taught to seek and find.
The question must be posed: Why does the Gospel account portray Jesus as rejecting the Pharisees as blind guides? Because they had thrown away the Key of Knowledge. "Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered" (Luke 11:52 KJV). And with respect to the proper use of the Key of Knowledge, Jesus stated: "But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in" (Matt 23:13 KJV). There is no way of evading the teaching that Jesus condemned the Pharisees because of (1) their failure to enter into the Kingdom; and (2) their obstructing the path of those who were striving to enter the Kingdom. With respect to these ignored and gravely misunderstood words: What was the seeker supposed to use the Key of Knowledge to enter in? Enter in the Inner Kingdom -- coming into the Presence of the True Prophet -- where the Truth of all Creation would be revealed to them. And the fact that the carnal Jews has thrown away the Key of Knowledge -- in the same manner that the Church of Rome which called itself Orthodox threw away the Key of Knowledge -- was the reality portrayed in the words: "...hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in"
The Gospel teachings of Jesus known as TheWay was intended to free the people from the cloud of profound ignorance imposed upon them by the organic limitations of the physical body, and open the door within them to a reality of higher understanding, knowledge and awareness. An important insight into the very essence of the genuine and original teachings of TheWay is contained in an article in the Encyclopedia Britannica under the heading, The History of Christian Mysticism, where it reads: “Although the essence of mysticism is the sense of contact with the transcendent, mysticism in the history of Christianity should not be understood merely in terms of special ecstatic experiences but as part of a religious process lived out within the context of the Christian community. From this perspective mysticism played a vital part in the early church. Early Christianity was a religion of the spirit that expressed itself in the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness”. What is expressed in these words is of the utmost importance, in that the original teachings of Jesus was not the belief in the Mithraic sun-god of the Church of Constantine -- but rather, the means to make all Christians prophets and mystics as demonstrated in the words: "...From this perspective mysticism played a vital part in the early church. Early Christianity was a religion of the spirit that expressed itself in the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness”.
That modern Christianity has very little in common with the original teachings of Jesus, is demonstrated in the words that the objective of the teachings of TheWay was to bring about "...the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness” -- which has absolutely nothing in common with the blind faith dogmatized Church that came into being in the fourth century. And, just as equally important to understand, is that "...the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness” has absolutely nothing to do with the expansion of the physical brain -- but rather, the development of those areas of mind that the physical brain which is of an earth-vibrational frequency, does not support.
Until it is recognized that present-day Christianity has absolutely nothing in common with the original objectives and teachings of Jesus and TheWay, then little to no spiritual progress can be made. Once understood for what they presently are, the modern doctrines of the Church are in fact a synthesis of the most elementary faith-based entry-level Gospel concepts that Paul referred to as the entry-level "testimony of Christ", with the doctrines of Mithraicism which was the Universal Religion of the Roman Empire. With the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the long suspected evidence was suddenly proven -- i.e., biblical scholars such as A. Powell Davies openly confirmed that: “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” (quoted by Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls). And that, in order for the synthesis of religions to be brought about by the Emperor Constantine, (1) Jesus was declared to be God (see The Ten Words ); (2) the most corrupted copies of the Gospels were further corrupted in order to make them support the doctrines of Pagan Rome (see http://BibleCorruption.com ); (3) and the true, spiritual disciples of Jesus were hunted down by the armies of the emperor, and murdered (see The Death Of The Religion Of Jesus ). And in the conversion of the teachings of Jesus and TheWay into a faith-based pagan religion, the necessary esoteric knowledge was lost, and mankind was plunged into the abyss of spiritual ignorance.
What is the "testimony of Christ" that Paul taught the congregation at Corinth? Paul portrays the higher realty of the soul and the Kingdom as the reality of “…things so astounding that they are beyond a man's power to describe or put in words…” -- and the few who possess the Key of Knowledge and are able to open the inner door to the Heavenly Kingdom, after these select few gaze upon these mysteries, what they have witnessed will be of such a profound nature that they will “…not [be] allowed to tell them to others” (2 Cor 12:4 TLB). So, the question then becomes: How do you start to convey to entry-level faith-based believers what is "...so astounding that they are beyond a man's power to describe or put in words"??? The only means available is to create a system of allegorical symbols that act as catalysts which begin the process of "...the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness”. Thus, Paul warns the congregation at Corinth: “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor 2:14 NKJ). Spiritually discerned indicated that they are spiritually revealed as the disciple applies the Key of Knowledge to gain entrance to the Kingdom, and is able to receive the Sacred Manna/Gnosis from the True Prophet. Paul then goes on and warns these believers of a natural mind who were baptized and dedicated to Christ: “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to babes in Christ” (1 Cor 3:1 NAS). Thus, these believers could only be taught the doctrine of Jesus Christ and him crucified (1 Cor 2:2), because they were not yet spiritual men -- but rather, they were men of flesh and still very much “babes in Christ”. Paul then explains that: “I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able” (1 Cor 3:2 NAS - Spiritual Defeat ).
Why are the scriptures -- as well as the Gospel accounts -- all allegorical symbols that must have the Key of Knowledge applied to them in order to begin to perceive the true meaning of the written word which Paul portrayed as the "letter that killeth"??? (2 Cor 3:6). Because man's higher soul-reality and the Kingdom is utterly incomprehensible to his very limited organic human understanding -- an understanding which must undergo the process of "...the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness” in order to perceive and comprehend both the essence of the Gospel, and the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God. And in its original form, the Gospel was designed to bring about the necessary physical transformation that fulfilled the Law within the disciple, and manifest within them what is portrayed as the Final Temple that enables the seeker to enter within the Holy of Holies, and learn from the True Prophet. This transformation is brought about by becoming the "good ground" in the parable of the Sower and the Seed. And this process of expansion which brings about the transformation of body and mind, is portrayed in the words which portray the spiritual increase of those who make themselves the "good ground... [which] …multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times” what was initially received (Mark 4:8).
The scriptures are not at all historical accounts in the manner that they are thought of by modern Christians. I have already demonstrated that the higher reality of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom are incomprehensible even to the congregation of believers who have received the testimony of Christ. Because man's soul and spiritual reality is incomprehensible to him, the scriptures are an allegorical presentation of symbols that act as a catalyst which, when the Key of Knowledge is properly utilized, can be used to gain entrance to the Kingdom within -- drawing the disciple into the Presence of the indwelling True Prophet -- wherein the disciple can begin to receive the revelation of All Truths.
The Great Human Dilemma: There is a reason and a cause for all things -- and this includes why men and women see the world from a different and often conflicting perspective. In the allegorical account of the Tower of Babel it is stated: “Now the whole world had one language and a common speech… But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. The LORD said, ‘If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other’” (Gen 11:1-7 NIV). This confusion that exists among all of mankind has an organic reason that is the result of the Natural Laws which must maintain Balance and Wholeness of Mind across the spectrum of mankind. Thus, not only is their an important reason why different people perceive and understand the world and all things from a different and often conflicting perspective, but it is these very differences that when rightly understood, has the potential to unlock the mind and totally eradicate the confusion of organic human consciousness.
Without understanding the allegory of the Tower of Babel Syndrome and the Natural Laws which cause each man to function from a different aspect of mind -- a condition of mind that causes each individual to think and perceive the world differently than the next man (see The Enigma Of The Segmented Mind) -- and why the biblical authors warned that it was impossible for men of a "natural" organic mind to comprehend their own higher soul-reality and the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God (see above Fatal Error) -- then The Great Human Dilemma is manifest in the inability of men to communicate from the same perspective -- but this is even more so the Great Dilemma with respect to a Spiritually Mature person who attempts to communicate his higher vision and understanding of reality to those who the Apostle Paul portrays as being of a "natural" organic mindset.
Einstein, who, like Plato, Pythagoras and other great thinkers, perhaps put the dogmatic dilemma of man into the proper perspective as quoted in the recent biography by Walter Isaacson where it is written: In 1929, during a dinner party in Berlin, someone asked Einstein if he was religious. " Yes, you can call it that," Einstein replied. "Try and penetrate with our limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that, behind the discernible laws and connections there remains something subtle, intangible, and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything that we can comprehend is my religion. To that extent, I am, in fact religious." Shortly after his 50th birthday, Einstein gave an interview during which someone asked him, "Do you believe in God?" Einstein responded, "I'm not an atheist. I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying laws but only dimly understand these laws."
The word “theology” comes from two Greek words, “theos” meaning “God,” and “Logos” meaning “Word” or Word of God -- but when the core principles of Creation and the Trinity is understood, the word Logos means the Mind of God -- and is the third-force balance between what is portrayed as Mother/Father God (see Logos). Taken together we have the concept of “knowledge about God.” Add to this the statement by the Apostle Peter as preserved in the Homilies of his disciple Clement that “Hence, O beloved Clement, if you would know the things pertaining to God, you have to learn them from Him alone, because He alone knows the truth. (see The True Prophet) -- fulfilling the objective "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me" (John 6:45 NKJ) -- and what we are presented with is the true reality of religion that those who claim to be religious are in denial of. But to accomplish the primary objective of the scriptures and prevail over the Tower of Babel Syndrome, we must begin to understand the Natural Laws that invokes the mass-confusion in-which organic man finds himself immersed. Those who are able to begin to attain a higher level of spiritual maturity, are as those who "...are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages." And in recognizing the mass-confusion that exists among the opinions and perceptions of mankind, those on the path of higher spiritual maturity, are those who "...dimly suspect a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is" -- recognizing that "...the universe [is] marvelously arranged and obeying laws but only [a very few among mankind are able to] dimly understand these laws." But those who do, and are able to bring the the great segmentation of language and mind together within themselves to achieve Wholeness, are able to fulfill the Royal Law and "...then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them."
In understanding what is being presented, it is important to recognize that when Peter stated that one can live a spiritual life and "...hasten the coming of the day of God" (2 Peter 3:12 NKJV), the only possible interpretation is the fulfillment of the End Times within one's own mind and being. And the Gospels speak of those who will see and experience the Kingdom Coming within them -- i.e., “But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God.” (Mt 16:28; Mark 9:1; Luke 9:27). And Peter portrayed the Anointing (Messiah/Christ) of the disciples as the fulfillment of the End Times Prophecies: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord’" (Acts 2:14-21 NIV). While the the "...blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord’" did not transpire in the outer world -- yet, what is signified in the allegory did happen within the disciples who saw and experienced the Kingdom (second coming) come within them. Since what is portrayed in the name Jesus is the pattern of salvation, when you pick up your own cross and immerse yourself in the Pattern, only then can the Christ come within you. The objective of the Gospel is to Enter In The House with the Lord (see below: In The House). While those who are portrayed as being "outside", can only be taught in the enigma of parables -- because they dwell in a shadow-world of illusions, and are incapable of comprehending the higher reality of their own souls. And this is exactly what is portrayed at the end of the Book of Revelation where the people who dwell under the illusions of what Jesus portrayed as the "outer darkness" ( see Outer Darkness) as being "outside" -- i.e., "But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie" (Rev 22:14-15 NKJ). The whole quotation portrays those who have prevailed and overcome, and are able to enter through the gates of what is often portrayed as Spiritual Jerusalem: "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie" (Rev 22:14-15 NKJ). And the process of "...entering through the gates into the city" is parallel to that of "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matt 7:13-14 NIV).
The Proper Application Of The Key Of Knowledge: Once the scriptures are properly understood, they are very much the Key of Knowledge that if properly turned within and used to open the inner "narrow strait gate", they will enable the seeker to learn directly from the One True Teacher, and bestow upon such a sincere disciple the Life that the Gospels promise to the faithful believer. Which means that even those who claim to believe, and yet fail to fulfill the spiritual objective of the Gospels within themselves, are those who walk upon the broad-way of self destruction -- i.e., "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matt 7:13-14 NKJ). And when Jesus was asked directly when the Kingdom of God would come upon the earth as Jews and Christians believe, Jesus said it would never come upon the earth, because it is within us all: "Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21 NKJ). That modern Christians walk the broad-way of self-destruction, is because long ago the Church threw away the Key of Knowledge in the manner of the carnal Jews -- and thus, what was said of the Jews then, is true of the Christians today: "How terrible it will be for you experts in religious law! For you hide the key to knowledge from the people. You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering" (Luke 11:52).
In the same way that Jesus expected the leaders of the Jews to properly apply the Key of Knowledge and enter the (inner) Kingdom (see GateOfEden.com) -- and thereby become enlightened to the Truth directly from the Source of All Truth (see The True Prophet) -- in their failure to properly apply the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge, they made themselves blind guides who were leading the people in the wrong direction down what Jesus called the "broad-way of destruction", making themselves apostates to the Kingdom of God. Thus, the reality of the crucial questions that modern Christians close their eyes to is this: (1) How did the Pharisees and Jewish authorities "...hide the key to knowledge from the people"? (2) Why did Jesus condemn the leaders of the Jews for failing to enter the Kingdom themselves? -- i.e., "...You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves"! And, (3) how did the religious leaders of the Jews "...prevent others from entering?"
That the primary objective of the Gospel is to prepare and enable the seeker/disciple to enter the Kingdom, is further demonstrated in Jesus' condemnation of the blind religious leaders as seen in the words: "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to" (Matt 23:13 NIV). Which means that the Kingdom of God is not something that will come as we wait for it to arrive in this world, which Jesus portrayed as the Far Country -- but rather, it is a reality which man must seek, find and enter -- which is why Jesus warned that those who do not themselves pick up their own cross and travail in TheWay, are neither believers or worthy to be called his disciples and followers. Allegorically, the restoration of the prodigal son to his rightful place in the Kingdom is portrayed as the resurrection -- and that this resurrection can only be attained and brought about while in the body-vessel, is demonstrated in the statement of the Gospel of Philip in the warning: "Those who say that first they shall die and (then) they shall arise are confused. If they do not first receive the resurrection (while) they live, they will not receive anything (when) they die" (see Gospel Of Philip). But perhaps even more important is the fact that the Christians, like the Jews before them, have themselves thrown away the Key of Knowledge -- and they have promoted the doctrines and traditions of pagan Rome -- the Christians have preached a doctrine where they teach the people to "...commit apostasy" where they "...crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt" -- and as an apostate to the New Covenant, Paul warns that "...there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins" (see TheLie.org ). And like the carnal Jews whose heart was hardened by their spiritually apathetic ways, they condemn the Truth and the Gospel Objectives as heresy!
The question should be posed: Can we just read the literal text of the scriptures and know the truth? In the manner that Christians attempt to do today? Paul called the written words of the scriptures the "letter that killeth" (2 Cor 3:6) -- because most of the literal written word that appeared to be historical, was little more than "Jewish fables" (Titus 1:14). He warned the baptized believers at Corinth that until they undergo the necessary process of spiritual transformation, that their natural organic mind will be incapable of understanding the true meaning of the Gospel (see Mystery), and they will look upon the Mysteries of God as "foolishness" -- i.e., “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor 2:14 NKJ). And he warned these baptized and confirmed Christians of whom it was said that they had received all the gifts and testimony of the Gospel of Christ, that their untransformed mind was yet too carnal to comprehend and begin to grasp the necessary higher realities of soul and spirit -- i.e., “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to babes in Christ” (1 Cor 3:1 NAS). Further explaining that what is known as the testimony of Jesus Christ and him crucified is the "milk" of the Gospel -- meant for entry-level believers who have only begun their journey in TheWay -- i.e., Paul warns: “I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able” (1 Cor 3:2 NAS).
To ignore this warning by Paul, as well as a parallel warning by Jesus himself, and a warning by Peter and all the early elders and leaders of the Church, is to cast one's self into a Spiritual Diaspora of profound ignorance that will be near impossible to emerge from -- i.e., biblically portrayed as the "broad-way of death". Further, unlike the modern believer, the above words were written by Paul to a congregation of Christians who he (Paul) had himself taught the meaning of the Gospel. And what Paul was stating was that it would be impossible for them to understand the true meaning of the Gospel, until which time their minds became transformed and evolved into a state of spiritual maturity that would enable them to perceive and understand what was incomprehensible to those Christians who could only comprehend the Gospel and the meaning of the scriptures from a human physical perspective. And this fact was confirmed by Jesus in the parable of the Sower and the Seed when he warned those who had received the Word: “And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?” (Mark 4:13 KJV). And to put this great biblical truth in the more modern language of the New Living Translation: “But if you can't understand this story, how will you understand all the others I am going to tell?” And what this means is that if you fail to understand and put into practice the essential teachings of the parable of the Sower and the Seed in every aspect of your life, that there is no means for you to perceive and comprehend anything beyond what Paul portrayed as the "letter that killeth" (2 Cor 3:6) -- which was in fact the plight of the Pharisees who had thrown away the Key of Knowledge.
Peter vs Simon Magus On Scriptural Interpretation And Meaning: Those who are familiar with the quotations of the Apostle Peter as presented by his disciple Clement in what is known as the Clementine Homilies -- often portrayed as Pseudo-Clement, because, like all the earliest of Christian writings, the spiritual concepts are in conflict with the dogma forced upon the Church by the emperors of Pagan Rome -- will encounter a reality that the modern Church is simply not prepared to understand. In preparation for an upcoming confrontation with Simon Magus, Peter explains: “Therefore Simon, who is going to discuss in public with us tomorrow, is bold against the monarchy of God, wishing to produce many statements from these Scriptures, to the effect that there are many gods, and a certain one who is not He who made this world, but who is superior to Him; and, at the same time, he is going to offer many scriptural proofs. But we also can easily show many passages from them that He who made the world alone is God, and that there is none other besides Him”. Thus, it is foretold that each side will be able to prove their dogma with many scriptural passages. Simon will be able to prove that the world was created by a false god -- and Peter will be able to prove that the world was created by the One God. Both will be able to use the same scriptures to prove their assertions. This inherent design of scripture is by Divine Providence that each person sees in the body of the writings that which confirms their own beliefs.
Peter then goes on to state that: “But if any one shall wish to speak otherwise, he also shall be able to produce proofs from them at his pleasure. For the Scriptures say all manner of things, that no one of those who inquire ungratefully may find the truth, but simply what he wishes to find, the truth being reserved…” -- which means that each person who opens the scriptures will only see what they already believe to be true. Yet, Peter warns that the disciple must seek out and learn the correct meaning of the scriptures ONLY from the Shepherd and True Prophet. Which means that By Design, the scriptures are a reflection of self, and everyone is supposed to perceive and find their own predetermined beliefs in the pages of the scriptures -- believing that the scriptures confirm what they already believe.
During their discussion that was to ensue, Simon became hostile when Peter refused to engage in his interpretation of the scriptures and said: “Then said Simon: 'You are manifestly avoiding the hearing of the charge from the Scriptures against your God.'" To which Peter then replied: "'You yourself appear to me to be doing this; for he who avoids the order of inquiry, does not wish a true investigation to be made. Hence I, who proceed in an orderly manner, and wish that the writer should first be considered, am manifestly desirous to walk in a straight path’”. What, then, the intelligent seeker must ask, is the order of inquiry? In these words are noted the most profound error of both Bible believers as well as the critics today who only perceive what is literally written in the narrative of the written word. Believers see and read the scriptures in the manner predicated by their doctrines, while ignoring the very warning of the scriptures that it is their own perception of the Word that is in error. Simon wants to engage Peter and use the scriptures to prove that the world was created by a lesser god. Peter states that By Design, anyone can prove almost any doctrine by using the scriptures -- and therefore, before the scriptures can be understood, the “writer should first be considered” -- meaning that the reader must look past their own opinions and beliefs, and perceive the inner meaning conveyed by the writer -- based upon the original purpose and objectives of the writer. Any woodworker or craftsman knows that, while you can use a fine chisel as a screwdriver -- and young children who have access to such tools mistakenly do it all the time -- not only is a chisel a poor alternative for a screwdriver -- but you ruin the chisel and render it worthless to perform its intended task. In much the same manner, when you attempt to utilize the scriptures in a manner outside their intended purpose and objective, you render the scriptures worthless.
That Peter's warning is correct, is overwhelmingly proven by the modern church. Many very intelligent minds and astute biblical students have studied the scriptures and continue to hold conflicting opinions that oppose what the next person sees very clearly represented in the Bible. Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe that Jesus is God -- and they can demonstrate their doctrine in the Bible. Baptists, Pentecostals, and most other Evangelical Christians believe that Jesus is God, and they have a whole host of biblical citations to prove their doctrines. The Mormons believe in the pre-existence of the soul. The Quakers have no formal doctrine, and believe only in the revelation of the inner Light. Presbyterians, Methodists, Lutherans, this Orthodox, that Orthodox, this Church of God, the Universalists, the Reformers, the all inclusive Liberals, the Conservatives, etc., all faithfully read the scriptures, and all find important points of disagreement. What we must begin to understand is that many of these people are very intelligent and sincere believers -- and yet they all see something different when they open and read the pages of the same scriptures. Their flaw is not in what they see -- but like Simon, they all failed to heed Peter's words when he warned that the “writer should first be considered” -- and if the writer has been personally taught by what Jesus portrayed as The True Prophet -- and the writer has indeed been enlightened by the Holy Spirit -- then it is the interpretation that this writer conveys, that is the only true meaning. But that would mean that you must read and utilize the scriptures with the same purpose and objectives as the authors who wrote them for a specific purpose.
If what the early church authorities say is true, and any number of doctrines and dogma can be proven using the same scriptures, then the reader must learn to relinquish personal interpretation. What, then, is the answer? The genuine revelation of the scriptures can only be learned from the True Prophet as to the correct meaning of the narrative. “Hence, O beloved Clement”, proclaims Peter, “if you would know the things pertaining to God, you have to learn them from Him alone, because He alone knows the truth. For if any one else knows anything, he has received it from Him or from His disciples”. These words -- that you can only learn the things of God from Him alone -- are as true today as when Peter spoke them to his disciple Clement in the first century.
The Great Proverbial Question: Is God An Incompetent Imbecile? If God is the Supreme Intelligence and Creator of the Universe who sees and knows all things from the beginning of time to the end, then the question must be asked: Why didn't God author a set of scriptures where the meaning was so plain, that everyone who opened the books of the Bible would derive the same meaning from what they read? This question is so important -- and so gravely misunderstood by believer and critic alike, that it can be said that because mankind fails to understand why virtually everyone who turns to the scriptures sees a different and often conflicting message in its pages, the whole of mankind has been immersed in an sea of confusion -- dwelling in a self-imposed intellectual dark ages -- unable to make any real progress towards unlocking the potential of one's own mind, and the true reality of even life itself.
Is there any clarity to the true meaning of the scriptures? Even a very casual examination of the religious world demonstrates that just the opposite is true -- and there are more opinions as to the meaning of the scriptures, than of any other writing known to man. And yet, the truth and reality of the scriptures is so profound, that the very reason for this mass confusion totally escapes the understanding of everyone who attempts to open the pages of the Bible. And when it is recognized that the often profound differences in interpretations -- differences which in the past have spawned great conflict and even wars -- that these differences which have in fact been organically hardwired into the perception and mind of mankind, have been imposed upon him by the Laws of Creator-God -- those who fail to understand the causal factors that immerse mankind in a virtual sea of confusion, will remain a slave to the very Principality and Kingdom of Ignorance.
Like the confusion imposed upon man in the analogy of the account of the Tower of Babel, what is presented in this allegory is representative of the same Laws at work that perpetually confuse the readers of not only the scriptures, but of the very meaning of life and the world in which man presently finds himself dwelling. Further, in the same way that the massive confusion in the account of the Tower of Babel was instituted by the Laws of God working directly upon the minds of men, in like manner the scriptures were purposely written so as to confuse the reader -- unless certain specific conditions existed first. What this means is that a man of insight and wisdom will first want to know (1) why these limitations exist, and have been imposed upon the mind of man; (2) what those conditions are that enables the seeker/disciple to comprehend what the vast majority of people are blind to; (3) and then to sincerely embrace those conditions; (4) including the proper application of what Jesus portrayed as the Key of Knowledge; (5) rather than follow what the scriptures portray as the blind guides who lead others into the proverbial ditch along the side of TheWay.
It is an ever-looming and grave fact that, because believers, critics, as well as those who are looked to as experts and scholars in our universities, all fail to understand the nature of the scriptures from the vision and perception of the original authors, the scriptures remain a perpetual enigma to nearly all who open them. Further, until the reader comes to understand exactly why the Tower of Babel syndrome applies intimately to them -- and the scriptures were intentionally composed so that everyone who opens them will see something different and often in conflict with what others see in the scriptures -- then no real progress can be made towards understanding the Great Truths that reside concealed and preserved beneath the garb of the written text. And in this respect, while we often hear Christians babbling about talking in tongues that makes no sense to the hearer -- of the original account it is written: "And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance ...And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?" (Acts 2:4-9 NKJV). And what this makes reference to a reversal of the allegory of the Tower of Babel and the Laws which cause each person to see and understand all that they perceive, from a totally different and often opposite and conflicting understanding. From one voice, everyone who spoke a different native language, all heard as if what was being spoke was in their own language. Of those few who can successfully reverse the effect of the Laws that produces the Tower of Babel Syndrome which plagues all of mankind who are as Paul portrayed of a "natural" organic consciousness, the scriptures state: “...they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them” (Gen 11:6 RSV). And when rightly understood, the purpose of the scriptures is to reverse the Tower of Babel Syndrome which plagues all of mankind, and create that condition within the seeker/disciple where "...nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them”.
In the original account of the Tower of Babel the Laws of God created a condition where everyone heard and spoke differently from each other -- i.e., "...Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other’” (Gen 11:1-7 NIV). And until it is understood that these Laws which affect the hearing and understanding of each person remains in effect -- and continues to confuse the perception and thinking of the people -- then no real progress can be made to overcome the dilemma that plagues all of mankind. And it is equally important to understand why only the disciples of Jesus were portrayed as hearing and speaking in the Universal Language of the Soul -- and was therefore understood by each person in the native language of the Laws they were born under. And in this respect the bottom line is this: That it makes little difference as to what YOU believe the nature of the scriptures are, because what you are hearing is merely in accord with the very fragmented "...language in which [you] were born" in accord with the Laws you were born under. Whereas, the authors of the scriptures perceived and understood from the higher reality of the language of the soul -- and being Whole and Complete, they perceived and understood from the perspective of the Anointed Mind that Comprehends all things as they truly are. Which means that if you fail to understand the sacred writings from the same perception and understanding as the original authors who composed them, that your comprehension will remain both incomplete, and a virtual fragment of the Whole.
Once rightly understood, we can in fact portray the above enigma of the Tower of Babel Syndrome is as the Paradigm of Thought which filters and colors not only each person's perception of the scriptures, but also all aspects of the life they are living. Thus, before you can even begin to understand the true meaning of the scriptures, you must first come to understand the original objectives and goals of the authors -- their purpose in composing the writings -- and even more important, the more Enlightened Paradigm of Thought of the authors of the scriptures. And if we pose the question as to whether it really matters if we understand the true meaning of the scriptures? And we reason: After all, hasn't the findings of science superseded and made these ancient writings irrelevant to modern man? And while present-day intellectuals would like to think so, the void is so great in our modern understanding, that it can be said that modern man dwells in an intellectual Dark Ages -- a cocoon of Mental Ignorance -- hypnotized by the illusions of the images that he has little comprehension of -- in a world that he does not understand the true nature and reality of.
